Surprised they arent supporting Apple Intelligence on ALL products. Was certain that the new iPad would do it – why not just give it the M1 or M2….

CNET is not the same as it used to be: non-knowledgeable people’s lousy comedy.

Yet in Europe 15″ Air starts from 1500€ which is 1626$. Makes no sense

It’s interesting that Apple is not pushing AI as hard as it did last year. Last year, it was total AI hysteria.

I’ve always said that AI was half-baked and not ready for primetime. Its utility will remain quite limited for years to come. Mark my words.

It is so interesting to see **HOW LOW THE CNET VIEW COUNTS ARE** … CNET is pretty much irrelevant these days. IMHO

The best decision Apple ever made was moving away from Intel and creating their own chips. Even today, I don’t think Intel can beat M1.

  22. @QUANTUMJOKER

    March 7, 2025 at 7:13 pm

It would have made much more sense to put the binned A18 chip from the iPhone 16e in the eleventh-generation iPad. A binned A18 with one fewer GPU cores makes sense for a budget iPhone, and surely this applies to the base iPad.

I don’t even know what iPad I have. Picked up an older MacBook as a replacement but still use the iPad. Until it breaks I don’t expect I’ll upgrade.

Coming from a MacBook Air m1 with 16gb ram which mine is 5 years old and still kicking , do I need a new laptop or a new oled tv. I need a new tv because mine got wrecked by gravity, would have gotten a new laptop instead.
