How will the H-1B Visa crackdown effect Errickson Immigration Group?

The Trump administration’s sweeping H-1B visa crackdown—characterized by massive proposed fee hikes and sudden permanent residency suspensions—creates a complex financial dynamic for Erickson Immigration Group (EIG). While it severely risks cutting their primary high-volume revenue streams, it simultaneously drives a surge in high-margin advisory and compliance billings as corporate clients navigate the chaos.

The firm’s bottom line is being reshaped across several key operational areas:
    1. Drop in High-Volume Sponsoring Revenue
    2. Elimination of Green Card (PERM) Billing
    3. The “Chaos Premium” (Surge in Advisory Fees)
    4. Litigation and Appellate Billables
Ultimately, while EIG faces a structural loss in predictable, high-volume transactional revenue, the sheer complexity of the administration’s crackdown has temporarily transformed immigration law into an indispensable crisis-management service, offsetting volume losses with premium advisory billings.
Bottom line: She may be out of a job 🥴

ANOTHER PROBLEM FOR AMERICA IS THERE IS A GLOBAL DEMAND FOR THESES HIGHLY SKILLED PROFESSIONAL AND OTHER NATIONS ARE ALREADY OPENING THEIR DOORS TO WELCOME THESE HIGHLY EDUCATED TALENTS BADLY NEEDED FOR THIER AI INDUSTRY..
ANOTHER PROBLEM FOR THE U.S IS IF AMERICAN MULTI NATIONAL CORPORATIONS CAN NOT FIND ENOUGH DOMESTIC TALENTS FOR THE MASSIVE DEMAND FOR SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING AND MATH PROFESSIONALS, THEY ARE GOING TO BE FORCED TO RELOCATE TO OTHER NATIONS WHERE THE TALENT IS. GLOBAL BUSINESS DOES NOT RUN ON AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM NORE RACISM AND HATE. THEY HAVE TO SURVIVE ECONOMICALLY AND COMPETE GLOBALLY.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT IMMIGRANTS TAKING AMERICAN JOBS, THIS ALL ABOUT WHITE FEAR OF DEMOGRAPHICS CHANGES AND WHITE PEOPLE BECOMING A MINORITY.. THEY ARE SO AFRAID OF LOSING POWER PRIVILEGES AND A SENSE OF SUPERIORITY THEY ARE MORE THAN WILLING TO DESTROY OUR ECONOMY TAKE US BACK TO THE STONE AGE IF THEY CAN.. RACISM IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF THIS NEW WAVE OF ANTI IMMIGRANT XENOPHOBIA DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE HAVE A DECLINING POPULATION DUE TO LOW BIRTH RATE AND AN AGEING POPULATION.. ALL OF THIS MADNESS STARTED WITH THE ELECTION OF PRESIDENT OBAMA A BLACK MAN , THE ELECTION OF TRUMP X2. THESE RACISTS HAVE NO PROBLEM DESTROYING EVERYTHING EVEN THERE OWN ECONOMIC HELL TO MAINTAIN THEIR DOMINANCE AND WHITE SENSE OF SUPERIORITY. YOU ARE GOING TO END UP WITH YOUR WHITE MAJORITY BUT AMERICA WILL BE A THIRD WORLD NATION IF THIS INSANITY CONTINUES.

Tech talent that’s stupid because I’ve watched H1B Visa people get hired in the tech field and they don’t know anything about their job and I’m sick and tired of losing jobs because the companies are hiring cheaper H1B .

    • @bigeagleowl

      These are fraudsters from India.

  9. @Charles-xd6lw

    October 9, 2026 at 3:48 pm

Many of these people that are here are here with fraudulent degrees and fraudulent certifications and then they end up working in a corner grocery store so we don’t need them here we have Americans that can do the jobs.

Just put a 10 year ban on the program only allowing PhD level in critical areas from Universities outside of the USA. Then later see if it was worth it or really not needed.

Republicans tactics and noise due to upcoming mid terms elections. This will be forgotten soon after the elections, otherwise they wouldn’t have waited this long to put restrictions on H1b & Green Cards 😅

The impact is Americans will get jobs which hurts US immigration lawyers and tech companies.

  15. @CMVeal

    October 9, 2026 at 5:40 pm

Americans were laid off by Microsoft while an equal amount of foreign temporary workers were retained. That’s not how this program is supposed to work.

Foreign students pack the talent pipeline, taking opportunities from US students, in order for these foreign students to get a US job.

  16. @Dfgbuiiyyyybb

    October 9, 2026 at 6:20 pm

Governments job is to come up with rules and regulations. Companies job is to try to find ways to work around them while staying within the legal boundaries.

🇮🇳⚠️ Indians are sneeky. They will start new corp with different names. USA also need to rid of Indian CEOs at All tech corp. AI WILL TAKE ALL JOBS. INDIA 1.4 billion will be starving, angry, and violent. Indians have FAKE DEGREES! Data Entry jobs are NOT ENGINEERS.

If these people are so smart and talented, stay in your country, start your own company, and hire your own people. Stop invading our countries.

  22. @srinib73

    October 9, 2026 at 7:38 pm

I think its the AI that is behind all this, corporate america wants to cut jobs but afraid of doing so in a direct way, so the president is helping them, and helping himself to paint it as he is tough on immigration. Average person on the street has no understanding of how the capitalism works, poor fellows. This rhetoric will keep increasing but with no impactful policy changes, that protects american workers in the long run.

  23. @blankjohnson6934

    October 9, 2026 at 7:55 pm

Screw the tech talent, its cheap labor. Shame on you bloomberg.

  24. @kashifbukhari5606

    October 9, 2026 at 9:02 pm

Look at the excuses they are giving to a very straightforward problem that companies are hiring cheaper foreign workers to replace US workers.

  25. @jojohns1949

    October 9, 2026 at 9:13 pm

Hiba wants to continue the program and is anti America Yes it is truth I know family Who have a MS degree in computer science from MIT Was lay off and replaced by an India visa worker with only a BA from india We want to see arrest of the top heads of those companies who abuse the system Just like our government has no problem arrest poor people for welfare abuse

  26. @groyperium-d7c

    October 9, 2026 at 9:38 pm

Talent? Tell me one software or hardware that you have ever used in your entire life made by an Indian company (i.e. a company originated in India). I will wait. 🤷‍♂

  27. @HDogCrypto

    October 9, 2026 at 10:34 pm

So Microsoft laid off American workers and kept the H1B visas workers, that’s the point

  28. @OFM1209

    October 10, 2026 at 12:22 am

The value to the company is that they are cheaper. Hiba needs to train her people to speak like her as well. If Hiba was in the phone she have a crazy thick accent and her name wouldn’t be Hiba it would be Hillary.

  29. @lindafukuyu5767

    October 10, 2026 at 3:04 am

Those Indian and American companies must be tracked down for ILLEGALLY hiring offshore workers, period. They not only need to be fined but also prosecuted !

  30. @kingkobra1956

    October 10, 2026 at 5:58 am

The only questions being raised are stupid ones because indians don’t want to understand that reality that the grift is over. It is not fair to the American workers that they lose their jobs and be replaced with cheaper labor.

  31. @Ana-iw2lx

    October 10, 2026 at 9:25 am

India will survive. Indian parents are dissecting and removing their five years old daughter eggs and selling for millions. 🎉the Indians will always make 🤑

  32. @BrigitteRosier-s5d

“Tech talent”= bought a fake degree

  33. @BrigitteRosier-s5d

    October 10, 2026 at 10:11 am

These foreign corporate slaves do not belong in the U.S. and they are not assimilating and that’s why they are getting the boot, in reality.
    They are mindless, compliant Asians.

    They possess no American spirit.

  34. @JohnDoe-c9h1f

    October 10, 2026 at 11:10 am

Trump’s White Power bill has been passed.

  35. @xxxyetiable

    October 10, 2026 at 1:45 pm

H1B workers are not the backbone of tech and provide no value. There is a reason that India and its 1.6 billion Indians produce ZERO technology. You tell me what product, either hardware or software do you use that comes from India? All of the tech come from American companies, all tech is invented and created by American engineers. The knowledge and talent and skills are in America, not 3rd world India that produces no tech!

  36. @shaunmc013

    October 10, 2026 at 3:54 pm

The question is what nationality are they targeting. Dark skinned Indian and middle easterners or does this apply to the Chinese and Eastern European communities as well???

  37. @troymulder7335

    October 10, 2026 at 4:03 pm

Unanswered questions? Indians and beg tech have been colluding to prevent Americans from getting jobs, instead giving them to cheaper, indentured Indians. And enough is enough.

  38. @troymulder7335

    October 10, 2026 at 4:15 pm

An additional player can elevate the entire team. Those players exist right here in American. Hire them.

  39. @jazilzaim

    October 10, 2026 at 5:15 pm

This is a good move. The only people hurt are the immigration lawyers which is fine by me.

  40. @rickcaldwell2862

    October 10, 2026 at 5:46 pm

No, it means American tech companies are going to have to pay fair wages to American tech workers. People from other countries aren’t any smarter than Americans. They just work for a lot less.

  41. @charlesdean03

    October 10, 2026 at 7:41 pm

So wait a second Anver (from Pakistan origin) I was born there so I can tell where the person is from. She will have the bias to say this is a bad idea but what i am looking at is the quality of how it used to be, Mind you I moved here in 2005 and looking at Tech stuff taken over by south Asian companies, mostly Indian and Bangladeshi companies has gone to toilet. The big companies are doing some bad but then you have these fake IT companies for IT consulting who do the same scam as well. Double check all the H1B visas and new visas should be triple screened! that’s the best way not lollygagging. Also with this they are cutting the wages down for people here in America and worse making those H1B visa guys work overtime as they are contracted as salaried so is it right?? Also who defines VALUE ADD???

  42. @mack....

    October 11, 2026 at 7:57 am

Excuse me ms Hiba, but how can you make an astoundingly stupid comment about a tech talent pipeline needing to be developed and it not happening overnight as if we aren’t all well aware that tens of thousands of tech workers have been laid off across various branches of tech in the last few years? Microsoft alone since 2020 has laid off between 35k and 50k employees. Social media is littered with stories of software engineers with decades of experience being ,aid off from various companies. You people must really think we are just fucking stupid
