Going wide on gaming really shows more of the game.

It appears to be rather reflective.. not always a good thing.

Hopefully Samsung can fix there game mode this year so local dimming works.

Qled is better than Oled for gaming because there is no burn in…

    • Andrew Berndt

      January 7, 2021 at 12:20 am

There’s not much burn in to begin with

Are they also coming in 4K?

You will never get away from blooming with a LCD, and you’re still get disgusting viewing angles

Dolby Vision? More then 1 HDMI 2.1 port? 4000nits? 4:4:4 @ 4k @ 120hz? Tell the people what they want to know!

    Dolby Vision?

Sad thing is if it was 4k it would be way better. Better picture and better price.

Another year where the “blacks are blacker”…. yawn

  15. Hector Ochoa

    January 6, 2021 at 11:09 pm

I know I should focus on picture quality, but I always look at what type of remotes TV manufactures make for their TVs and I think samsung nails it when it comes to TV remotes.

Are they still using the one connect cable?

Still just a backlit LCD. Samsung’s local dimming algorithms have not been up to scratch for a few years not expecting any change with that.

  19. Classic Galactica

    January 6, 2021 at 11:52 pm

    Still no Dolby Vision.

HATE Samsung TV’s. I’ve had quite a few TV’s over the years but by far the worst TV I’ve ever owned was a Samsung. SOOOO many problems with it and after a very short period of time colours failing down the edge of the TV along with NUMEROUS other picture issues. I vowed I would never buy another Samsung TV again and I won’t. Panasonic are much better anyway.

Does Anybody know if All HDMI inputs Are 2.1???? 2.0 is DEAD

Samsung needs to stop with LCD crap and embrace OLED…

    • Jasper B

      January 8, 2021 at 4:28 pm

Honestly, I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. They both have their strong and weak points and are good in their own way. I don’t think most consumers can tell the difference between both panels…

@Jasper B Honestly, I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. Anyone with eyeballs can tell the difference between LCD and OLED…

  46. glbernini0

    January 8, 2021 at 9:16 pm

There are so few TV channels that are broadcasting in 4K, please stop wasting time with 8K. A decade from now it might be viable but the development money could make a glorious 4K TV!!!

  47. glbernini0

    January 8, 2021 at 9:17 pm

LOVE THE SIMPLE, SMALL, FIT ON ANYTHING STAND. Everyone else please steal this design as well.

  48. Fubar CNC

    January 8, 2021 at 10:14 pm

The fact that we have all this technology and we can’t even get a simple voice feature like Series, google assistant, etc to locate my remote. Seems kinda funny you have the option on your cell phones why not this top of the line with almost all of the bells and whistle people could actually use on a tv, I love the video chat option, I am waiting for the option to be able to watch 12 to 20 different videos or live tv in its own frame yes just like back to the future… lol

    Classic SAMSUNG…. over saturation city!!!!

  50. Donkey Balls

    January 9, 2021 at 12:50 am

Sorry but Samsung needs to improve their black levels. That’s their weak spot. All the TVs I’ve owned have been Samsung. I like them. But compared to my recent LG OLED Samsung comes up short. Of course my LG is ina room where light can be controlled. But it looks amazing.
