    That’s worser than neuralink

      how so

Those of us who protect our mental privacy, who actually use our brains are watching the science on this because we don’t like it

    still nope

    Neuralink is so cooked 😂

      good

    • @JustinsGarage

      October 11, 2026 at 10:16 am

@brettwellington8610 only small minded individuals would watch this and think neuralink is dead. This is ground zero for the innovation battle in implanted tech. Go watch something more your speed.

    • @cryptogames299

      October 11, 2026 at 10:32 am

@brettwellington8610 unless this is neurolink soon to be owned or is covertly owned company

the future has come… cant wait to see superhuman brain or matrix something

  6. @sunflash9

Cyborg is the future.. still undecided. Make sense for disability people, but for healthy individuals, no thanks.

    • @justinunion7586

      October 11, 2026 at 11:32 am

Why not for healthy individuals and only disabled people?

    • @sunflash9

      October 11, 2026 at 12:17 pm

@justinunion7586 Do you want somebody hack your brain.

    • @declup

      October 11, 2026 at 1:04 pm

@justinunion7586 — Everybody’s decision calculus would be different, but I suspect many would be worried about surgical risk and privacy loss.

    • @justinunion7586

      October 11, 2026 at 1:44 pm

@declup Surgical risk is becoming less and less of a risk because these procedures are progressively becoming more accurate and less invasive. Privacy loss is too vague and loaded. What privacy is being lost? The privacy to do what?

    • @declup

      October 11, 2026 at 10:56 pm

@justinunion7586 — Are you trying to convince me to undergo some procedure like this? I wasn’t speaking about myself. My comment was about people generally. Risk isn’t an objective metric; it’s in the eye of the beholder, and some people will be leery of elective brain surgery and transhumanism.

  7. @christophermontoya5526

    October 11, 2026 at 10:22 am

It would be nice to see this technology become practical and affordable enough to help those with disabilities.

    • @Royce16727

      October 11, 2026 at 11:28 am

I became partially paralyzed and lost my vision around eight years ago, so I’m really excited about these developments! I followed them pretty closely. Precision Neuroscience is just one of the companies that are involved in this space (and they’re not even the most advanced). There are tons of others! 🤞

    • @justinunion7586

      October 11, 2026 at 11:31 am

Competition will drive prices down like with all technology: e.g, medicine, vaccines, personal computers, smartphones, etc.

I’m really excited about BCI Tech! I’m blind – I lost my vision eight years ago – and now I’m really excited that someday it could be restored to me! The Prima device from Science Corp. has already proven that this kind of Tech can restore vision, and their device has been approved for sale in Europe. You guys should cover that, too!

We’re at the beginning stages of the Cyborg trend. This will likely extend far beyond practical use cases.

    • @jhowardsupporter

      October 12, 2026 at 2:21 am

There is no practical use because there is no lithium ion battery so the device does not have a finite lifespan it can start impacting profits from smart watches and ability to interface with the device without looking at it means no chance for scrolling and so viewing ads which is where largest profits are generated. We will never get this device.

    • @Zytopian

      October 12, 2026 at 2:24 pm

Except when you can implant ads directly into your thoughts…

  15. @CynthiCarmen

    October 11, 2026 at 1:53 pm

Nerual Link is better as you no longer need to cut into the duramater to implant the device.

    • @jhowardsupporter

      October 12, 2026 at 2:15 am

Good work getting this working because I was reading up on the brain chip testing on the CIA website my go to comedy page, it was dated from the 1960’s, they said it was a total failure. Apples airpods with EEG sensors are better then nuralink because you put them in your ears. I can say do not ever use it because they will use your thoughts for marketing but they will win. The point of implants is constant presence, imagine a solider able to initiate the air strike simply by willing it.

    • @Beyondarmonia

      October 12, 2026 at 4:57 am

@CynthiCarmen More important is probably the size of the device. I don’t understand why theirs is so large with a chest piece and all.

    • @Qwert817-r2h

      October 12, 2026 at 5:23 am

neural link insert deep brain filament for recording the impulse….. it cut through dura, arachnoid and pia, and directly into the brain parenchyma…

  16. @ConsultorJunior-u9c

    October 11, 2026 at 2:12 pm

Still nope, I am not letting people cut my head open to insert a computer. No implants

    • @jeromegreen3654

      October 12, 2026 at 12:52 pm

@ConsultorJunior-u9c what if it’s required to barter fo needs and goods 😂

GREAT! Soon we can buy a subscription to our own brain! Thanks, corporation!!!

  19. @BlackbodyEconomics

    October 11, 2026 at 4:26 pm

The moment you introduce wireless capabilities (WiFi or Bluetooth) with passwords and encryption – you’re just splaying things wide open and exposing an entirely new attack surface full of vulnerabilities with third-party extensions.
Security should always be the number one concern with any technological development.
ESPECIALLY these, the primordial developments, in what is sure to be a very full ancestral tree of BCIs.

    • @Another-Address

      October 12, 2026 at 9:19 am

Manchurian Candidate comes to mind as well.

  21. @LexLutherBDA

    October 12, 2026 at 8:40 am

These technologies are highly promising. My hope is that the companies developing them would work together to accelerate progress. Neuralink, with its AI capabilities and broader research is another example of whats possible.

  22. @Guyverman01

    October 12, 2026 at 9:13 am

This could do wonders for creativity.

  23. @Thomas.Hacker

    October 12, 2026 at 9:17 am

Invasive Eingriffe stehen für mich aktuell nicht zur Diskussion, die Risiken sind mir noch zu gross. Deshalb ist mein Gedanklicher Ansatz nicht Invasiv und Freiwillig.

  24. @deez5149

    October 12, 2026 at 9:32 am

Yea if it’s noninvasive then why not lol. But that looks like an excruciating surgery

  25. @crescentx3

    October 12, 2026 at 10:46 am

As soon as they can send information to individual neurons, I’ll both be so excited and so terrified. On one hand they could bypass my optic nerve and give me my vision back in one eye, on the other hand that tech could be used to alter thought patterns. I guess it all depends on the scale and location of the implant so an optic implant may not have the kind of reach to change much, but that episode of Star Trek where Geordi is brainwashed through his visor comes to mind…

  26. @illicit008

    October 12, 2026 at 11:08 am

Dr jose DelGado figured this out in the 1960s. It’s called a stimiceiver, he invented a wireless no implant one as well.

  27. @Noah-s9i3v

    October 12, 2026 at 12:37 pm

if these guys merge with neuralink, we can make Ghost in the Shell real

  28. @LordBrittish

    October 12, 2026 at 1:36 pm

I am extremely hesitant to use something like this, especially at the tech’s infancy. I’ve seen Sword Art Online!

  29. @Amipotsophspond

    October 12, 2026 at 2:52 pm

I will be waiting to see who gets Multiple Sclerosis from contamination during the easy just put in and take it out operation.
are you putting it under the myelin sheath or above it and if it’s above it how much signal loss would you really get just going above the skull.

  30. @Randomynous01

  31. @jasonwallace6400

    It’s technopathy, not telekinesis

  32. @JoeMama-ud5eh

How’s it compare with the functionality of neuralink?

  33. @patrickrolfsen

    October 13, 2026 at 12:40 am

Sooo privacy is already an issue and tech companies want to put a computer lead on people’s brains. Ummm no.

  34. @CIBERAIFACTS

    October 13, 2026 at 1:17 am

cant wait they start playing ads in our brains

  35. @ALaughingMan

I hope one day this can be used to bridge the spinal damage and give those who have lost motor function the ability to move again, since stem cell research was kneecapped :[

  36. @goldennboy1989

    October 13, 2026 at 3:36 am

One day I hope you will just swallow some nano bots which will travel to your brain and Interface with it. Like in the Nexus books by Ramez Naam

Imagine a future “threat” along the lines of COVID, and a corrupt state forcing you to undergo brain surgery. This is the revenge of the countless lab animals we tormented with our “science”—now it is our turn… No no no no ….

  50. @Hclann1

    October 13, 2026 at 12:59 pm

If we can do this on the surface of the brain, why not the outer surface of the skull. We just need better sensors.

  51. @Arusunalia

  53. @festro1000

    October 13, 2026 at 5:38 pm

That was always my biggest gripe of the technology tech wears out and having something that will need to be replaced hooked directly to the brain sounds really sloppy and shortsighted especially how companies are buildign tech these days to be disposable.
My solution would have been to make a futureproof connection from the brain to a receptacle and have a replaceable module, that way when a new module comes put you can swap it out like a game cartridge.

  54. @timwhite1783

    October 13, 2026 at 7:28 pm

Might as well go full cyberpunk at this point. Let’s at least make it cool.
