    Whats special about the sea lamphrey is their unique jaws, blood sucking parasitic nature of attaching to the host. Nothing in his research is unique to the sea lamphrey, his research could easily be inspired by a more common fish or water snake.

    There are only two things that it has in common with that parasite and it’s shape and it’s aquatic. The function has nothing to do with a parasite. Ridiculous to even suggest that.
