Swimming robot inspired by ancient blood-sucking parasite

The robot AgnathaX is modeled after the lamprey, a jawless blood-sucking fish that’s been largely unchanged by evolution for the past several hundred million years. It is always said that nature does it better than the inventions of man… this is an example of it. I love the inspiration that science and technology have with nature to do things like this.

Whats special about the sea lamphrey is their unique jaws, blood sucking parasitic nature of attaching to the host. Nothing in his research is unique to the sea lamphrey, his research could easily be inspired by a more common fish or water snake.

This could be a waste of time and body. Or maybe a next new step to bio machinery. Sadly only time can tell.

Modern man is not the man who goes off to discover himself, his secrets, and his hidden truth; he is a man who tries to invest himself in something beneficiary for the future.

There are only two things that it has in common with that parasite and it’s shape and it’s aquatic. The function has nothing to do with a parasite. Ridiculous to even suggest that.
