As debate intensifies over the risks of advanced AI and the rapid expansion of data centers, Eclipse CEO Lior Susan venture argues the industry needs collaboration rather than a retreat to avoid ceding the US’s technological lead over China. He also says the tech industry needs to do a better job explaining the benefits of data centers to local communities and how physical AI could become a major driver of US economic growth. He joins Ed Ludlow on “Bloomberg Tech.”

china already won, ya dumb-f*cks, they already have AI facial recognition paired with social credit scores. Their autonomous robots are ahead of ours, and AI alteady runs things there.

if anything, the USA is just becoming an extension of China, so they dont get left behind, especially when the leadership clings to autonomous robots and AI. 🫵🤣🤣There is no ‘race to AI”.

A car cannot build another better car. Very soon an Ai can create a better Ai .. and the new better Ai .. an even better one and so on. The car analogy does not really apply to Ai.

If the wormhole is truly what Einstein-Rosen + ER=EPR suggests – a single, continuous, entangled spacetime – then there is no copying. There is no moment where you are here and there. There is only one continuous worldline that goes through the throat. You don’t get teleported. You get squeezed and re-expressed. If AI can keep that channel open, stable, with negative pressure dark energy, without decoherence – if it can prevent the wave-function from collapsing into a copy – then the observer on the other side is not someone who believes he is you. He is you, who has just traveled. That is the crucial task of AI in my model. AI is not the printer. AI is the midwife of continuity. Its job is to make sure the passage through singularity is not a cut-paste, but a cut-and-stay-connected. Its job is to preserve quantum coherence of consciousness long enough that the universe cannot tell where one universe ends and the next begins.

We don’t need AI, billionaires do.
China wouldn’t be a threat if we weren’t handing our infrastructure over to billionaires.
