Bridget, that’s junk. All you need to know is that you’re beautiful and Dr. Apple should tell you that too.

If you ever want to slow down time to a craw, do planks. 1 minute in the plank position is approximately equal to 3.5 years of regular time.

You think that’s brutal? Let me introduce you to my old Garmin LOL

  19. @perhapsme988

    October 2, 2026 at 6:21 pm

Within 1 minute of my getting back into my place, I take off my watch and phone. Then shoes etc.

So why would I want a watch to go to sleep with? I’d mind as well have electrodes inserted through my eyes to go to sleep with?

What are they going to ask soon? Have your watch on when taking shower. After all, taking shower is a bit of work out. Don’t find that ever so? Well just step back and pay attention to your breathing after shower before towel down.

I won’t ever buy a ‘smart’ watch. My little Casio with both analogue hands and digital display plus tide and moon phase indicator is fine for me.

And I’d rather get a proper and expensive watch from not upgrading new smart watch every few years. This is one of the worst aspects of smart watches. They don’t keep. Literally.

I’d bet Apple senior executives all have highly expensive Swiss watches too. It says it all.

Because of the new increased sensors in the Series 12, these new features won’t be available on older Apple Watches. I have a Series 10 that I’m really happy with, but hate that I can’t access these new features without upgrading.🫤

  23. @neilbarton6061

    October 2, 2026 at 6:59 pm

Upgraded already to Series 12 watch. But hadn’t realised these challenges that are ahead of me, assuming it iOS 27.2 works the same way in the U.K.

  37. @borgataipatrik

    October 3, 2026 at 10:52 am

It’s funny to see how Apple is just catching up within its own game…most of these features doesn’t make any sense for an average Joe and the ones who care about biological age already using alternative products like a Garmin or Whoop.

    • @Jedi_Alpha

      October 3, 2026 at 3:37 pm

True but Whoop and Oura ring charge subscriptions to access and integrate your health data plus the purchase price of the device. They also don’t have screens or other apps that integrate with your smart phone. The only advantage they still have is longer battery life. The total cost of ownership is more now for those devices.

Garmin gives you these core health metrics without subscription. But their Health+ metrics do cost a subscription.

As long as Apple does not tack on subscriptions then right now with the Apple Watch 12 or 12 series ultra, it has the lead.
I realize for sports specific Extended training sessions that exceed the battery life of Apple Watch 12 ultra then Garmin is the way to go.

It’s more typical Apple to be late in the Market to bring in certain new features. But then to integrate them in a better way in their own ecosystem.

  38. @new9place

    October 3, 2026 at 11:36 am

Does the app work in any country?

  39. @D0Mlas360

I see where Apple is going with this, in a few years we will see Apple Health Care Insurance.

  40. @hayice1

    October 3, 2026 at 2:29 pm

Apple needs to add a weekend mode on your Apple Watch or maybe even a vacation mode. Where maybe your stand hours go down but your exercise minutes go up.

  41. @Jedi_Alpha

    October 3, 2026 at 3:47 pm

    Bridget great job.
I’m sure that if you practiced it a couple times. Warmed up with proper clothes and did it in private giving your all 100%. You would be several years younger than the assessment you showed us. 😊 Give it a go 👍🏻

Bridget never takes herself seriously and we love her for it.

  45. @Tommy-rf9sw

    October 3, 2026 at 6:40 pm

The goal is to trick users into doing them, collect the data, and then sell it to the highest bidder while hiding it under the fine print within the terms/conditions that majority don’t read.

  46. @monkeymelia

    October 3, 2026 at 6:54 pm

Great video. You should have pointed out that the new longevity tab requires IOS 27.2 beta, which many of us regular consumers don’t yet have. I have been racking my brain looking for it in IOS 27.0.1. Siri eventually straightened me out. 🙂

Where are all the people on the opposite end of the health age spectrum? I think the data is skewed as most people seem to have a health age better than actual. It should average out to real age.

My initial health age score (-2 years) is exactly the same as what my $30 Yunmai scale is telling me. I’m not sure what to make of that.🤔

Anyway, I’ll probably get around to doing more of the tests. I’m just worried that they might make me even more neurotic about the state of my health (thanks Apple Watch!). Hats off to Bridget for doing it for all to see!😂
