Make them smaller and put screen technology on them instead of lights. They will be able to form a display of any size at any place.

0:40. You highlighted one of the major weaknesses of the robots and of the AI pdriven devices: the power supply. As long as they would need batteries, their production and their replacement, there is no autonomous system that is viable. At one point, not very far, they will collect dust in a corner.
Not to mention that they are ugly.

So…they make slow robots for furniture? If only people used thier ingenuity for something useful. I assume they couldn’t begin to comprehend nanorobots or robotic prosthetics so they just chose novelty furniture bots.

Wow… imagine these at nano size

If I had modular robots, I would be creating a large scale transforming Optimus Prime for reals.

  30. John Gyver

    May 20, 2020 at 7:39 pm

Nice, but I wish you had shown us how those modules are controlled.
Are all those shapes prerecorded, then “played” back to assemble something? How easy (or not) it is to create a new shape that I want?
