First prototype of Boeing’s Loyal Wingman drone

Boeing Australia has delivered the first of three prototype advanced combat drones to the Royal Australian Air Force. The unmanned aircraft, nicknamed Loyal Wingman, can fly alongside piloted fighters or on solo missions.

      @Max T yeah may make people less scared of the concept (ie it IS reliable) Most flights are near automated now (like cruise control) main thing is just people being spooked. Also may work on some ai stuff too, darpa had a fighter ai “training companion” wouldn’t be surprised if something comes out from that project…

    Payload = ability to kill lots of innocent humans, Australia should be spending those millions on sustaining life in their rapidly deteriorating economy, instead of death and destruction and propping up an ailing US industrial war machine with their peoples hard earned dollars.
