I come from a place where studying should be a simple dream, yet it feels almost impossible. I want to learn, I want to grow, and I want to build a future I can be proud of. But in my country, I cannot find teachers who guide me in the right way. Most of them do not teach with care, passion, or understanding.😢😢

@المعلمةسماjust don’t give up , you will eventually find a way . I could help you with this actually . In India we have this ed tech platform Called physics wallah or PW , although it is dominated by courses who teach science primarily with a blend of hindi and English , there are courses which are in English only and it’s really affordable with it’s price around 60 to 70 dollars or less for a year and you could complete your 11th and 12th using it, but the curriculum would be based on Indian standard books for 11th and 12 th and designed for few of the world’s most competitive and tough exams for entrance in engineering and medical colleges and they have really good teachers . So you could use that platform , it would certainly help you gain knowledge but it may not align with what is being taught in 11th and 12th of your country’s curriculum . There are other platforms which teach as well but they are very expensive compared to this one and you could also use AI to help you in studies . I wish the best for you , your family and your country’s future .

I hear a local news radio ad in which a young woman discusses her job qualifications saying, “I had to be resilient. That’s something that you can’t teach,” and every time I think or say, “B*llsh*t! Resilience can ABSOLUTELY be taught!” May it be so for more and more children from all walks of life.
Thank you for returning to rehearsal with your broken heart, made larger by the cracks and tears, letting more of your light out for the world to see. Bon courage and brava, lady!

Ballet is a form of art, and a good dancer is a good dancer whatever his/her skin color. Telling a black girl that she can’t do ballet is as silly as telling a white musician that he can’t do reggae, or telling an Englishman (of which I’m one) that only a Scotsman or Scotswoman can play the bagpipes. Ballet is better off WITH you than WITHOUT you, Misty. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Misty’s story is such a powerful reminder that resilience isn’t built in the spotlight. It’s built in the quiet moments when you choose to show up despite the pain, the doubt, and the doors that were never meant to open for you. The way she turned adversity into artistry shows how strength grows from purpose, not perfection. Her journey proves that resilience is something we create through every choice to rise, not something we’re born with. 💖
