Can art pave the way for a politically divided nation to move forward? Artist, cultural strategist and TED Fellow Marc Bamuthi Joseph reflects on the role of art, forgiveness and remembrance in the pursuit of public healing — especially at a time when trust is contested and community forums fractured. Wendy Whelan, associate artistic director of the New York City Ballet, joins him on stage for a rendition of “The Carnival of the Animals,” exploring how the cuckoo bird exemplifies the cycles of inaction that lead to injustice. It’s more than a performance — it’s a reckoning. (Recorded at TEDNext 2024 on October 24, 2024)

In the context of science: Belief is a statement not scientifically provable. Hypothesis is a testable explanation for an observation or phenomenon. Theory is a well substantiated explanation of natural phenomena based on facts. Fact is a verifiable observation.

Intelligence is the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills. Speaking fundamental. Knowledge, knowing, know, the root of this is to come to an understanding that something is factually correct truth. We don’t acquire this with belief/disbelief nonsensical nutter wands scraping thousands of years of philosophy that has developed logic and the scientific method in the fundamental search for truth. It’s our best route to truth. It’s how we’re going to classify something as a belief, hypothesis, theory, or fact. It’s the basis for evidence in a court of law. We can apply this as a screening process for screening the psychopath overlords control system that rewards psychopathy and promotes sociopathy. It consists of the veil of BSBS, bullshit belief systems of pseudoscience, religions, cultism, and historical lies. Sheeple have the wool pulled over their eyes. They pick and choose from the veil of BSBS and construct a personal box of false evidence appearing real for the most part. Fear is the favorite tool of the psychopath overlords. Highly enlightened beings, awakened ones, non-programmables, are utilizing logic and the scientific method. We’ve had to learn and practice to become efficiently skilled at using it as a screening process. Just the basics should be at the forefront of our minds and easily roll off our tongues in a world bamboozled with BSBS. Excluded middle, non-contradiction, and identity, we’re going to describe, explain, predict, and control through observation, experimentation, and peer review. If the scientific method isn’t being utilized in thinking, by applying laws of logic, we can determine that belief/disbelief based deductions are happening.

Examples of absolute truth or facts: There are no square circles. The laws of logic are true. The law of gravity is true.

Logic is a system of principles that uses reason to determine if a conclusion is true or false.

The law of excluded middle: States that something is either true or false. For example, either it is raining or it is not raining.

The law of non-contradiction: States that something cannot be true and false at the same time. For example, “It is raining” cannot be both true and false in the same place at the same time.

The law of identity: States that something is identical to itself and nothing else. For example, “It is raining” is true, so the statement is true.

A statement is either true or false. It’s not possible for a statement to be true and false at the same time. If a statement is true it must be true.

I have fired whole clips of logic rounds into belief/disbelief nonsensical nutter wand zombie sheeple and never made a ckink in the irrational armor. Belief/disbelief systems are extremely difficult to wake up from. Give up the wand. Become intelligent. WAKE UP!!! ⏰️ ⏰️ ⏰️

Yes… AND some seemingly opposite statements can be equally true & important at the same time. (Dialectical thinking.) Science is about observations of nature and the flesh that lives in it. Life, however, is much messier than science, and the behaviors of fleshly beings cannot always be explained with science – yet. Some, sure, sometimes. But how can we understand the very brains we live in? How can a person describe the house they inhabit if they’re stuck inside? There’s only so far we can go with that, and where science fails, what is left?

Science alone is not enough, as important as it most definitely is. Yes, too few people use the scientific method, I agree with you there. But there is still so much out there that science simply doesn’t yet have the means to study, much less grasp. Why do people behave irrationally? Why do people have the beliefs they do? And how do we combat the manipulations and machinations of the powerful, the wealthy, who band together and keep us too distracted to even question, much less resist?

I don’t know the answers… I’ll never stop asking the questions, though.

      @@BonnieShadow33When
we understand that we are very powerful beings. Emotos water/rice experiments, Baxters plant experiments, the observer effect… prove that. Belief/disbelief has great power. Just look at something like the Placebo and Nocebo effect. Belief/disbelief deductions are philosophical suicide. Belief/disbelief based deductions end with belief/disbelief based organizations in the control system taking advantage. In that sense, belief/disbelief is psychological pathogen mind control, a destroyer of logic, knowledge, and freedom.

7:41 💔 Public Healing vs. Violence
    • 💔 The cuckoo recognizes the lack of attention to public healing amidst public health strains, advocating for collective acknowledgment of social and psychological trauma.
