    I count on my phone in my Jeep being in a wireless charging dock and there is no way that would work at all. Just not worth the money when you can get a decent phone and Laptop for that price.

    I prefer iPhones and iPads but I really love the hardware of the Duo. If MS can make this form factor a true player in this new market with truly optimized software, well, I can see myself using this to replace an iPhone but I’ll always keep my iPads.

    They should have released a Uno phone. Just the one screen, rear camera(s) with same clean design.

    this is why they had them use the hardware without switching it on, they knew the software was not ready for prime time, they figured the reviewers would look past the software issues and just praise the hardware…”It is well made, the hinge is sturdy”

    This is dual screen Tablet phone hybrid device not for everyone especially this reviewer if i have to pay 600 dollars plus for a smart phone
    give me surface duo 2 screens. the Duo needs more specs to attract single hign end smart phone owners. they will work out the hard ware
    & software needs for the DUO as time goes onward. The DUO will be improved Microsoft has a Winner.

    You just outed yourself. So what that the galaxy fold and others exist. You trying to pigeonhole the duo into their space shows you don’t understand the intent.

    Played with it a little at BB have to say it’s amazing how thin it is and how the hinge feels but I got frustrated in just 5 mnts of using it.

    i bought a used zte axonn 7 for 100$ used 4 years ago and still use it.
    i can replace the battery in it too

    If Samsung Galaxy Flip and Fold works great, why couldn’t they basocally use the exact same Android build!?
    Basically all you need is a screen driver/instruction set that splits the Display into two or take the gap into account.
    I mean the fold can split the screen via Android OS software in like 12 different user chosen or gyro-rotation ways…

    I have been using my Duo since Thursday. It has been smooth and a positive experience. The only pain point for me is the camera. Not great, but not terrible. I don’t usually post to Instagram and I have real cameras to take pictures when I go on vacation so it’s not that big of deal, but I wish they had asked Google for more help with the camera. Other than that the Duo has been great, batteries have been great, the screen look awesome, and the experience is way better than a slab of phone. That is my opinion.
