Don’t see why I would do this honestly

    • jcnavarro

      May 26, 2022 at 9:54 pm

Because the back camera has better resolution, 4K video, super wide angle and many other features you cannot achieve with the front camera

      May 27, 2022 at 1:40 pm

Perfect when I am a one man operation trying to record myself playing the guitar.

    May 26, 2022 at 9:32 pm

But the video on the phone is of someone inside a home not outside something is not adding up here 🤔

      😂

      May 27, 2022 at 1:45 am

it’s also confusing because someone is holding a camera filming the phone and you see two right hands in the shot.

Then watch your battery disappear like magic!

What a great way to scratch both your iPhone and Apple Watch.

Why tf would you need to do this?

    • jcnavarro

      May 26, 2022 at 9:55 pm

When you understand 240fps, wide angle or 4k, then come back to this post

    • Dylan Edwards

      May 27, 2022 at 4:22 pm

@jcnavarro and what about the actual controls that are on the other side? You don’t need to do this ever.

    • iamtheirongolem

      May 27, 2022 at 6:58 pm

The back camera is much better

    • jcnavarro

      May 28, 2022 at 3:15 am

@Dylan Edwards you need to monitor your subject to stay in frame…. Let this be something for people who actually understand video quality and need the best results…

    May 26, 2022 at 10:25 pm

Throw your apple watch and wrap your iPhone with water

  8. DarthRaider

    May 26, 2022 at 11:37 pm

Just use your front camera. Unless your doing something semi professional or you’re a famous youtuber / twitch streamer, there’s no need for 4k or wide angle etc

    • iamtheirongolem

      May 27, 2022 at 7:00 pm

or a normal person that wants 4k video or if they need wide angle to take a group photo?

    • jcnavarro

      May 28, 2022 at 3:18 am

who are you to decide the needs of others?

    • iamtheirongolem

      May 28, 2022 at 4:44 pm

@jcnavarro hey think u can take a break they will understand soon

    May 27, 2022 at 1:42 am

make sure the strap is secure and you have a good solid grip, otherwise it might fall it that lake.

  13. VolcomKing

    May 27, 2022 at 1:58 am

If I see anyone do this.. I’ll point and laugh.

  14. Luis Ernesto Fdez

    May 27, 2022 at 2:45 am

Now you can drop your watch and phone together into the river when taking photos

    • Mark MeppyMan

      May 27, 2022 at 1:41 pm

      Doesn’t matter. Both water proof.

  15. ItsAlive111

    May 27, 2022 at 4:18 am

If only they had a camera on the front of the phone…

    • iamtheirongolem

      May 27, 2022 at 6:57 pm

      They do

  16. TheRob

    May 27, 2022 at 5:40 am

    smart!

  17. King Nano

    May 27, 2022 at 5:49 am

This is actually a great tip. Get the higher resolution camera and features from the back camera. This is great for anyone who does social media or other videos. See your framing and lighting. Good tip

    May 27, 2022 at 5:58 am

    Woooo!!!!

  19. Jay Rok

    May 27, 2022 at 6:18 am

Ooooooorr u can use your selfie camera 😂

    • jcnavarro

      May 28, 2022 at 3:21 am

oooorr, you can do that and record a 4K video and “know” if you are in frame when you work by yourself..

    • Jay Rok

      May 28, 2022 at 6:07 pm

@jcnavarro why would u need a 4K selfie that close? It would make more sense to use your watch for further pics/videos but if youre capturing something close enough where you can use the watchface on your phone then what’s the point

  20. 日尸人Rock

    May 27, 2022 at 9:38 am

Does this feature work without wrapping the watch to the iPhone?

    • John M Blake

      May 27, 2022 at 1:09 pm

Yes, but placing it over the back of your iPhone will keep your eyes from looking down or to the side in the final video clip. It’s called making eye contact with the viewer.

  21. Emil Toft

    May 27, 2022 at 12:30 pm

Same can be done with a Pixel phone and the Galaxy watch 4

  22. RIFTZz

    May 27, 2022 at 12:38 pm

Or just use the front camera

  23. mike g

    May 27, 2022 at 4:48 pm

You know, they used to make camcorders like this, still have some even

  24. What’s in my Hand

    May 27, 2022 at 4:52 pm

Watch’s camera app is most of the time very buggy though so it’ll take a few tries to get this set up working properly.

  25. Yang Qing

    May 27, 2022 at 11:01 pm

What a package deal for robbers while you vlog.

  29. Prot Gniarz

    May 31, 2022 at 2:50 pm
