Both of those folding form factors are awful and not worth the extra money and sacrifices you would be making. The square size of dual fold is not great for watching movies on because of the aspect ratio cutting of most of the added screen real estate. A 4 inch screen with two camera cut outs is not useful, except for a viewfinder on your already compromised cameras.

I love my Razor 💯, I like using the front screen . I like it’s easy to put in my front pocket

I’m just not going to spend that much on a phone.
There’s no need.

@diegoclark7697 nope. I’m talking about how the purpose of this is generally to sell stuff. These are pretty expensive.
It’s a little like picking a $150,000 car. More expensive cars exist … for sure.
But, telling people the $150,000 car is the one to get (and that’s what this is) is pretty silly.
Yeah?
@diegoclark7697
December 24, 2025 at 3:22 am
@zero11010 why’s it silly? That expensive car offers something which the others don’t. If you think you don’t need that, that’s fine. It’s not silly to buy something which offers more for a more premium price

When did slab phones become difficult to put in a pocket, I mean I guess the camera humps and islands can be annoying, but other than that foldables are way too overpriced still, I still choose value for the buck and in that case Nubia reigns supreme, one of the few companies around that will still give you what you pay for, everyone else either makes midranged phones sold at flagship pricing or in Samsungs case charge redicilous amounts for a 200mp sensor then try to justify it on it’s pricing, I dunno call me crazy I have the cheaper 12/256 version of the Red Magic 9 Pro but for the base value of those phones I can get 24/1TB version for same price and if it’s cameras you’d want instead of gaming z80u is a beast

I have the Fold 7, Flip 7, S25 Edge and got the Razr Ultra 1TB a week ago and I can’t believe you picked the Ultra over the Flip 7.
I will be returning the Razr Ultra because the overall build quality, especially the hinge isn’t as good as the Flip 7 and I don’t notice any difference in speed or fluidity and for $1,500 it should be built even better. Throw in Motos miserable track record with updates and it doesn’t make any sense to buy the Ultra.

I prefer the Google pixel 10 pro fold. Battery life is better and it’s ip68 dust and water resistant… Game changer in my opinion when it comes to the fold 7… I want durability if I’m spending almost $2000. The processor and camera on the fold 7 is not important to me considering the pixel fold processor and camera is not that bad since it takes advantage of more AI features. Also I game on my legion go so I’m not gaming on it

How long do foldable phones last before the screen breaks?

Pretty long I’ve had the fold 5,6 and now 7. Haven’t had any issues with either screen

At least two years. That’s when I trade in, so I don’t know beyond that.

Anyone can say what they want but coming from an older foldable to various galaxy S devices now back to fold 7 and its the best phone ive ever owned ppl can cry about the cam island and other small quality of design/life improvements but the cut down slimness made foldables a real force and honestly they put slabs to shame especially in the multitasking dept
