@SpaztasticSheep sometimes, i also wonder what it would feel like to be a female but i just can use my brain and imagination and stuff. The thing becomes bad when u are born into the wrong family or to some real idiot parents who can’t understand u and take care of u, etc. If u r in a good family and with supportive parents then u should be privileged and be thankful for that. I would consider/like to be a female only if that parents would be supportive and smart enough !!

I knew that Doctor was a dipspit! He kept saying I was post menopause… I argued a bit, but he barked at me…. I know hot flashes n sweaty wet sleeping haven’t stopped… I’m so tired of the medical community not knowing their asp from a hole in the ground…. Just because I didn’t go to school as long as someone, doesn’t mean I’m dumb or that I don’t know what I’m talking about. Thanks Dr. LadyDoctor. ✌🏻

I’m 64 still get hot flushes, night sweats, moods etc. I started menopause about 48 and still going 😎🤭

    • Persephone

      June 10, 2021 at 11:27 pm

This is actually very common throughout the medical community.
Its like how most doctors never get chemo and always recommend it.
Overweight/obese people’s problems are always blamed on their weight. (Same with smokers)
Doctors are the most suicidal professional group in the world, and they are afraid to tell anyone because they will lose their license.
Education does not equal intelligence. In fact, 90% of a doctors education is which med to prescribe.

@Persephone yep. I haven’t been to any doctor in over a year. I’m off my BP and Antidepressant… I’ve tried so many clinics n hospital systems around here… I truly think that the world sends it’s dumbest worst docs here, to Arkansas. What a bunch of incompetent snobs… Thanks Lady😉😎🐣

Ahhhhhh!!!!! This was awesome BUT I need more and consistent please. We transition folks don’t have a good guide to help us through all this. Any ideas of resources that can help like a conversation. Read the books but it was sooooo much more helpful to hear it and see a woman explain!!

I would counter that there is a lot to fear about ” reverse puberty ,” one symptom being Menopause in woman . Its just that some people prefer there aging process to be sugar coated and who can blame them ..

This is a bit sugar coated. Hot flashes and not being able to sleep is horrid, especially when I had to still go to work in the morning. It included a mental decline. Weight issues started. It charges your physical appearance with graying hair (which I don’t mind)..Changes relationships at work & home. Changes sleep patterns. Chocolate, wine & coffee made symptoms FAR worse. Had to research to find that info. The process Lasted 10 years which isn’t talked about.. And after this is when breast cancer occurred, for me which I’m pretty sure was hormone related. So personally I’d rather have kept having periods. Menopause is NOT a piece of cake.

    • Rocio Dos Santos

      June 10, 2021 at 5:35 pm

Every person has a unique experience during this process. I wish there was more information available, these are things we should be taught early in life to prepare for it, at least mentally, and understand what our bodies are going through 🙏🏾

    June 10, 2021 at 1:33 pm

    😂😂😂👌🏻
I like the boat analogy. Lol!!!
I only have the hot flashes no other symptoms but I can’t take estrogen anyways. Even when I took birth control pills she (my doctor) couldn’t prescribe the ones with estrogen it makes me feel really sick. Estrogen has never been my friend so I won’t miss it at all. I handled all of my 3 pregnancies very well too, no mood swings, no morning sickness (just puffy feet 😀). Hopefully as these periods end, the lack of estrogen will not be a problem.

Did You know: You can get rid of this kinda people around You. It is absolutely OK to divorce, to end friendships and leave relationships when one partner is entering her toxic phase of life ….

    • Amanda Lierly

      June 14, 2021 at 7:58 pm

To be right here, to took the time to watch the video to try and understand what she’s going through. Is a brilliant move. Devoted love. Forget what the person says about divorce. To the woman that’s going through menopause they’re trying to understand it too, your not alone

    • manfred schmalbach

      June 14, 2021 at 9:18 pm

@Amanda Lierly It is OK to menopause, I didn’t deny that.
Though, it is absolutely OK to end relationships/marriages turned toxic by her sudden changes.
It ain’t mandatory, of course: Neither to become a toxic, asexual manhater, nor to leave a woman going through menopause. It is, though, nothing only one goes through and the other had to endure all of that crap no matter what: relationships consist of TWO people. One turning into a toxic hater does affect the other, who is free to leave the recently turned toxic, manhating one without regrets or even feeling bad.

    • Amanda Lierly

      June 14, 2021 at 10:23 pm

Since I was a student in university I dreamed of having a clinic focused exclusively on menopause and educating people about it. It’s such a taboo in many countries and societies. Like this woman says, life doesn’t end when we get into menopause, it’s another stage of life. I’m 35 now, and I promise one day I’ll have my clinic with specialist to educate and give the right therapy and help to actually learn to accept and make the best of this part of our lives as women when we get to it.

While many symptoms of menopause go away after the transition it is important to know, that with increased age and ongoing estrogen loss 70 % of women will develope vaginal atrophy, the thinning and basically falling apart of the skin in the vagina and vulva. Local estrogens are harmless for most of the female population. When you go through menopause and develope reacuring utis, pain with urination, burning and itching of vulva and vagina and painfull intercourse, dont hesitate and get the treatment you deserve. Speak with your gynocologist about vaginal atrophy.

I am 41 and have been on the pill since I was 23. About 3 years ago I have stopped taking a break after each pack and take it continuously. I’ve never felt more hormonally normal. I will do anything to continue this for as long as possible or switch to another hormonal therapy when I get older. I think what they tell you about being ‘all natural’ is a lie.

I was surprised there was no mention of leg cramps. There is no pain like being awoken from a sound sleep in the wee hours by both calves severely spasming at the same time. Fortunately, this was eliminated by taking a good multivitamin daily.
