You can keep your communist and identity oppression Olympics “utopia” world. In fact you can shove it. You know nothing of justice and the impossible task of making peace in the world.

It’s truly sad that you formed an opinion on a 10-minute video after 47 seconds of listening. Forming a strong opinion based solely on speculation is a symptom of the growing pandemic of willful ignorance in this country.

    • Tom Warlitner

      August 13, 2020 at 1:00 am

@DeathnoteBB You just confirmed everything I predicted. I’m tired of the this group vs that bs. Tired of hearing about how I have it so much better and how my problems will never compare to “theirs”. Tired of how it’s perpetually my duty to make the approved choices regarding the “victims”. Everyone feels “marginalized” by something. It’s sad the amount of selfish, imaginative people who think it’s all about them. Helping others or “live and let live” is not enough. The “marginalized” need me to conform that this is their world too by limiting my place in it. I wonder how many will actually read and consider my comment? How many will throw the same tired responses? Because they see this as their world and can’t understand why so many are oppressing them by living in it and not complying with their wishes? Sorry, you caught me on a bad day.

    • Tom Warlitner

      August 13, 2020 at 1:11 am

@Matt C Not really. My opinion comes from seeing the same video 100 times and not thinking 101 will finally make me realize how the world’s full of better people than me and how I should change my selfish ways to accommodate them. But I’m about to watch it so I’ll get back to you.

Wake up, to many things, inactions, and actions here never make any logical sence. The church today is a Pharisitical parasite that waste resources by leasing buildings, houses, and suites that sit empty 70% of a month while homeless die from extremities in the weather. Humans are the worst kinds of mammals and animals because we waste more than we need and this extends all the way from the smallest of valuable commodities all the way up to our own equals. These Antichrist Churches should be all inclusive, explaining how everything here fits together as a whole reasonable, scientific, logical system that was created and exists because of, and through the almost diabolical mad scientist type workings of this, HE-MAN/IT/SHE-RA, Eternally lit lightning Sun God/Goddess/Godless bringer of Life and Death. I say, “Godless,” because this God has no God that He-She looks up towards as a role model and also be genderless or full of genders perfectly, so the term Godmore might also work I suppose. My point is that just as in, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, or even a rubics cube, so to must you flip this world over to recieve more clarity, enlightenment, They Liiiiiive!! sunglasses, Buried Treasures, etc.

Justice is not what the world needs. The world needs freedom, empowerment, and a complete and permanent moratorium on the monopolization of opportunity. We could end all poverty and empower every child born, on every corner of this rock, with access to the breadth of human knowledge in less than 5 years. But are we gonna?

    • Matt C

      August 13, 2020 at 12:12 am

The problem is reaching people with education from valid sources. We are currently dealing with two pandemics in this country: COVID and anti-intellectualism, where many people approach issues with a, “My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge” mentality.

  18. Joshua Harper

    August 13, 2020 at 12:10 am

While I don’t support her actual notions, I absolutely stand behind her description of how to execute meaningful change in the world. She understands that the game MUST BE PLAYED or no change will ever occur. You either are experienced enough in life to understand the game and play it well or you’re a bumbling child whining about how the game is unfair. Sadly, modern efforts resemble a “divide and conquer” mentality and will continue to fail on the national scale.

“Why don’t men lead the charge for pay equity for women?”
Just because there is an inequality does not necessarily mean there is unjust discrimination. Sorry, the gender pay gap has not been proven to be due to sexism. Men work longer hours, do more dangerous jobs, and are more aggressive negotiators for salary. Obviously there is some level of sexism, but it isn’t clear at all to what degree. To just make a blanket statement implying people deserve pay equity just because they’re women isn’t very smart.

The speaker calls for ‘allies’, but being an ‘ally’ will never be enough for the ‘equity and justice’ crowd. They throw about terms like ‘justice’ and ‘equity’, which have far different meanings to them, and they try to shame people into compliance with the threat of being labeled as a ‘bigot’.
