2:39 The moment when Something was flying and distracted my view !! Lol
Update: the flying object was the same fly that landed on Mike Pence’s head.

@Junito Punto Comm so your saying it’s an actual fly?

sherri moquin Dude, Look at his eye…He got distracted by the Mike Pence’s fly…obviously, the fly is behind the camera and that’s why you don’t see it.

I think a few people have said this now but I kinda expected it to have the nexus built into it some how, does look great though

    • Chase Evans

      October 9, 2020 at 5:49 pm

I’m actually glad it isn’t, just one more point of failure on something designed for typing at the end of the day. Imagine having to send your k100 back because the screen broke. However, if they included the Nexus module in the box that you could attach to the keyboard, that would make this the best keyboard ever IMO.

Sadly he doesn’t know what he’s talking about acting like he’s changing the game up by using the keyboard lmao

    • Jarkko Aitti

      October 9, 2020 at 8:44 pm

@BeholdMyStrength777 like: “cpu is asking the keyboard what’s new 125 times over the span of 8 milliseconds”, no, 125Hz means 125 cycles per second, that leaves 8ms for each cycle

One might think. But this isn’t a new keyboard. This is just another iteration that Corsair been peddling for 10 year’s.

How does it compare against the apex pro? Worth upgrading? Or isnt it even an upgrade?

    • Chase Evans

      October 9, 2020 at 5:36 pm

Hey @eijmertVR I’m not sure as I’ve never played around with the Apex Pro before. At first glance, the two keyboards look similar but there is a definite advantage to having the functionality that the K100 brings. Speed aside, I would hate to work without my iCue wheel, the 6 dedicated macro keys on the side are really useful (for things like Auto-run scripts in games and plenty of other uses) and I like that the dedicated media keys are at my fingertips.

    • Alex Knight

      October 9, 2020 at 5:55 pm

Trust me – you don’t want to know. Corsair makes awesome hardware. But their software is garbage. Ruins and crashes all systems.
Very odd cause they own elgato which has awesome software.

    • Evann F.

      October 10, 2020 at 2:40 am

@Alex Knight thats because they didnt make elgato software they just have ownership

I’m afraid to say that I bought a different multicolored LED keyboard already, but it was only $42.73 USD. Despite the low price, I thought it was still of good quality, so I was very pleased with my purchase.

Great review. Is it spill resistant/ proof?

  16. Sternkrieger

    October 9, 2020 at 6:21 pm

I would spent the extra $100 over my K70 for that extra RGB bling at the bottom!

    • LentoMan

      October 9, 2020 at 7:28 pm

I could see myself buying one in the future, I payed 1400SEK (~150 USD) for my K70 (MK1) over 5 years ago, but I probably won’t replace it until it breaks… 😅⌨

    • Nob0dy

      October 9, 2020 at 7:36 pm

LentoMan you do realize that keyboards last up to 20 years if not purposely broken right?

    • Tarkus

      October 9, 2020 at 8:00 pm

@Nob0dy So does a $20 Logitech. I am not saying you should get the $20 one though, I am just saying you made an irrelevant point.

    • LentoMan

      October 9, 2020 at 8:18 pm

@Nob0dy Yeah, many mechanical keyboards could probably last for a life time, unless some component on the controller circuit board breaks down. I actually spilled a small amount of water onto (into) my K70 a few years ago, the function keys stopped working for a day or so until it dried out, not sure if it could lead to any corrosion issues in the future? I also broke quite a few with rubber dome keyboards back in the days when I used to play a lot of FPS games.

Recently purchased the K100 based on Corsair’s reputation and the quality of build. While I am not a gamer per se, the feature set is amazing. This keyboard is quality, and while it is on the expensive side, you get what you pay for. Highly recommended, and my go-to keyboard from here on…
