Shuttle was soo expensive he didn’t say the cost…

The shuttle program was silly as made for its iconic appearance rather than utility. They had a reusable spacecraft that was mounted on the side of booster rockets, wasting alot of energy/ payload to counteract the off balance to reach orbit. The craft required a huge runway to land limiting operations. Heat shields needed to be constantly replaced.

@Kenny CanHe yea, it took alot of power just to get it to space. It did have a canada arm, but it was still alot of time and money that went into making it reusable. the space shuttle also had its flaws because of the individual heat tiles. it was very expensive to change them every single time, and it would take months for it to get sent back to space again.

@Guilherme Picollo duarte You made the claim it’s not real so really, you should prove it. But since you won’t be able to, I will prove what I know to be true:

SpaceX Starship is like a large container ship for space.
The old rockets are like little boats with low capacity.
The larger scale will make space shipping more affordable.
