City bike? It doesn’t have an upright posture. It’s closer to a racing stance.

IGO is a good battery based company.

It cost way to much for the specs.

You could get a similar spec bike for 1000 dollars or under.
The components would not be as good tho.

      May 26, 2022 at 8:25 pm

Soooo you are saying you can get a worse bike for less money. Who knew?!

    • NextNate03

      May 26, 2022 at 8:45 pm

@Hintonbro Or you could a better spec bike for the same amount of money.

My original point was that bike is overpriced.

Let me use food as a example.

Would you pay 50 to 100 dollars on a hamburger that tastes OK?
Or would you spend 10 dollars on a hamburger that tastes great?

No this bike is way overpriced compared to the competition. Reviewer doesn’t have any knowledge of ebikes

  14. Peter Aretin

Electric bikes are for people who don’t really like bicycles and think no skill is involved in riding one.

    • Joe K

      May 28, 2022 at 1:06 am

And people who makes comments like these are totally clueless as to what electric bikes are all about. What’s next, you’re going to sit on the curb and bark at passing cars?

    Electric bikes make people lazy.

  16. disciprine

    May 27, 2022 at 1:58 am

This review is from someone that knows nothing about electric bikes. 2.5k for this level of ebike that isnt even mid drive and doesn’t have a throttle is a bit redic. The battery capacity is half and motor is half the power of your typical rad power bike.

Tons of better options in that price range.

Why can’t the manufacturer build in a theft deterrent device similar to an Apple AirTag? Why do we have to purchase a third-party product when this function should be built into the bicycle? This oversight on the part of the manufacturer really ruffles my feathers

    • Nathan Woods

      May 28, 2022 at 12:01 pm

Not very many manufacturers does that.
Even alot of the high end bikes that cost 10,000 dollars doesn’t have built-in GPS trackers.
It adds to the costs and add unwanted weight.

It’s kind of like why car manufacturers don’t have built-in dash cameras or GPS trackers in any of their vehicles.

They only way it going to be standard if government passes regulations requiring that kind of stuff.

Years ago, seat belts was optional and did not become standard until the government stepped in.
You know how alot of people are anti masks and anti vaccine today?
People was the exact same way against seat belts.

@Nathan Woods As an avid bicyclest, I would not mind paying extra for a theft deterrent device built in. I also wouldn’t care about the extra weight
