i think the A line-up is more geared towards a different market like India, Malaysia, Africa etc.. which explains why it’s not launching in US. the ppl in those markets value bigger batteries over fast charging or wireless charging as they are out in the field all day and need their phones to last all day. and these markets, the buyers dun use Cloud Storage as parts of the country have poor coverage. so it was intended for those markets.

How is Nubia’s software updates, though? I know specs-wise Chinese brands offer a lot more value (I’m interested in a Poco F3 myself right now), but the smoothness and polish of OneUI is underrated and having access to that for 4 years (along with security updates) isn’t something that reflects in spec sheets.
No headphone jack is a bummer, though.

No headphone jack no charger in the box. Weak exynos chipset compaired to the snapdragon 778G chipset. Still made out of cheap plastic no metal frame to help with the usless 5G antenna bands inside the phone. Samsung have just downgraded their own phone compaired to the Samsung A52S 5G!

I just got mine last February. I’ve been choosing between the s21FE and the a52s 5g. I ultimately chose the a52s. I got the 8/256 GB model and put a 512 GB memory card in it. I’m glad I didn’t wait for the a53 cause of the specs!

@steven s 5nm chip processor in a53 is way miles better than that of 6nm chip embedded in a52s 5g. Apple A15 bionic also sports 5nm chip processor

In India, Samsung last year released a bunch of A-series in which A52 and A72 considered to be premium mid-rangers and overpriced non-sensely (also infamously known as Samsung Tax 😂🤣, that us as a Indian consumers need to pay while buying) for pretty “bad pricing-to-good performing” smartphone 😒

What’s the point of a bigger battery if the chipset sucks. S21 Ultras with the Snapdragon performance and battery life is 30% better than the Exynos version. There’s a whole video made on the 2 different chipset by MrwhosetheBoss.
