When will Tesla cars be produced so that working people can afford them? At least provide people with an option to has a slow speed that is affordable to regular working people? You will still be rich even though lower wage earners are driving your cars.

You have it backwards. It’s wages that are low, not prices that are high.

This is the high end version car of the Tesla lot so the previous versions are the affordable ones.

I think in the us it isn’t really that expensive. For example model 3, you save money on fuel and repair costs and its one of the very safest cars in the world. Just make your calculations..

@Vaughn Khouri Missing out, Toyota is making moves. But I doubt many ppl keep up with them cuz they’re the safe “boring” choice when it comes to cars. I guess ppl don’t like reliability and value.

Actually the Tesla Model 3 is more affordable than a Toyota Camry already: , though the pay-back time may vary depending on the relative costs that you pay for gas vs electricity.
I guess that in the US, like the UK, a lot of working class people have to pay rent, although it would be cheaper to buy a house if they could get a mortgage.

He’s not wrong. On paper it even beats Bugatti. A little lame that it’s software limited to 200mph, but very very few people on the planet know what to do with a car above 200mph.

Quick refers to acceleration not top speed

Rimac Nevara is the fastest electric car. Musk is an ego tripper who can’t admit he is not the best in something.

Maybe he was referring to a car you can actually buy and drive home, now…

Not to 60 mph/100 kph. How many are they going to build? What does it cost?
150 (maybe). 2.4 before taxes or inflation.
I am a fan of Rimac.

He said production car, there are other cars much faster than the nevera but not counted as production cars, rimac calls it production so they can claim a record, but a limited run of 150 handmade cars doesn’t qualify as a true production car like the model S.

Rimac is not currently being sold. Your statement is wrong

Cost nearing 2.5 mil. Sure its an expensive toy but not the quickest production car, that would be the tesla. Try reading

Based on his previous track record he’s using the term “production” very loosely.
