Thx for the honest review! I have an M2 Air (256gb, 16gb unified memory) which is the entry level for the so-called Apple Intelligence. I’ve been happy with my M2 Air so far and will NOT be upgrading this time around…

I have an M2 air as well. I will only upgrade when I will see a high refresh rate air.
I had 2 x macbook pros as well ( m1 pro and m2 max ). But I always end up with the air because of the form factor and the fact it doesn’t have a fan its an actual advantage for me. A high refresh rate mba is the ideal laptop

That was the response our producer had when I mentioned it, but WoW’s reqs do list an M1 Pro, so it was a reasonable request. I was hoping for something “newer for Mac” like Control Ultimate Edition or Wuthering Waves but they keep pushing the release dates back.

Unfortunately, there is no still fans, so there are heating issues. I bought 3 years ago and I regret it so much. Please do not buy a macbook without fan !

Weird, I use VMs on a MacBook around the same age and no fans, works just fine. No heating issues, in fact haven’t heard anyone talk about heating issues. You might want to get yours checked out

@@lammiwinks3775 mhm..not really…i have a m1 pro its never runed hot and i never heared the fun, but i rather have a fun rather than just pasive coling, unless you do some 8k editing or some heavy shi, the fan will never run
