He said Union jobs – that is why Tesla was not invited. I have a feeling they will do anything to play Tesla out of goodies.

He did not invite Tesla or Elon Musk lol. What does this say about the government’s view on Tesla? Tesla’s competition is the U.S. government looks like! Lol.

What a sham, TSLA has the most made in the USA cars and wasn’t even invited. This is a photo op for unions and not about real investment in green tech.

Instead at this event, GM front and center. EV poster child one would think.
In reality the company that did more damage to EVs and slowed their global progress down more than anyone else.

We need all EV future but why didn’t they invite Tesla? Tesla cars are the most American made vehicles while Ford Mache E is made in Mexico.

The fact that Tesla wasn’t included tells me how serious they are taking the new electric future (not serious at all)

The American Worker is the ace in the hole…. except the Ford Mach-E is built in Mexico.

As I remember lithium battery was invented by Goodenough, Whittingham, Yoshino and Yazami.
    Only Goodenough was American.
    US didn’t develop this technology

It’s because of Tesla the world is now trying to go EV, not inviting tesla to this meeting is extremely disappointing. I still believe GM and Ford will go bankrupt

To have an real discussion of the USA having a place in electric vehicles and not once mention the most American company, Tesla is purely negligent. You want to beat China in EV’s? Then be serious, the only way to lead is with the true American leader in EV’s who is already winning. Shame on you Joe. politician
