Sign me up! Everything looks great except for the charging solution should be NACS. As a pilot who has been flying for decades, I would prefer to ride in this e-vtol rather than a helicopter.

    • @TristenHernandez

      November 23, 2025 at 2:14 pm

Why? Do you think it will be landing at super chargers to recharge? I’m sure it will eventually be NACS but that isn’t important at all at this junction

I feel like These have been waiting for “certification” for years and may never get approved.

    • @watchonjar

      November 23, 2025 at 2:59 pm

a handful of them are close to approval, the problem is it takes a really really long time to get new air craft approved let alone a new type of air craft. The FAA has litterally had to write the approval criteria as these things have been through testing.

How will AI pilot coordinate with the air traffic control, which is not digitalized and relies entirely on verbal communications over FM radios?

  12. @MyTraveLws

    November 23, 2025 at 12:56 pm

Electric aviation is the future, and we will see many companies competing.

“Hasps. Very dangerous. You go first.”

  14. @greid9349

    November 23, 2025 at 1:07 pm

The aircraft is doing something very “automated and predictable” and a “pre- programmed flight”……until it encounters something not predictable like weather. I’ll pass for now

  21. @pujaballer

    November 23, 2025 at 6:02 pm

So we’re lacking workers for air, traffic, controllers, and these “self flying” vehicles still need a ground controller? Is this the path the aviation community should be taking?

  22. @nriik4081

    November 23, 2025 at 6:38 pm

Why not turn existing helicopters into auto pilot aircrafts?? 🤔

  23. @72launchpad

    November 23, 2025 at 7:20 pm

“Everything is safe” …. Thats what they say about airlines until they go screaming into the ground.

  24. @ryanmakers

    November 23, 2025 at 7:25 pm

People always fear new technology, but in 10-15 years, we won’t think twice about riding in one of these or purchasing an autonomous car. Especially when we start seeing the end of traffic jams.

  25. @MiKE_CCCLXV

    November 23, 2025 at 8:12 pm

And if it “accidentally” touches down in the middle of a busy interstate? 🤔

Yep, let it happen. Well done, Whisk, love the whole thing. Nothing to lose, no human error involved. I like the individual emergency exits. Good that AI isnt integrated. Great video.

  42. @M.Busneina

    November 24, 2025 at 11:02 am

well, using “put you down” was not the best phrase to use here I gues 🤔

  43. @rickypickles5046

    November 24, 2025 at 11:21 am

First, we already have flying cars. They’re called helicopters. Second, adding a million flying cars would increase the number of deaths from accidents significantly because midair collisions would be far worse than a car crash. Third, the FAA is understaffed as it is. With the coming self-driving car revolution coming soon, flying cars will be unnecessary. Sorry.

    i dont want to die

  45. @CNCHobbyistGregory

    November 24, 2025 at 12:22 pm

I am ready. It’ll take a while to get used to no pilot. I guess you’ll book a flight. Then walk out and realize this is your plane.

  46. @decide2think

    November 24, 2025 at 1:00 pm

One major consideration not mentioned was that the electric motors used in this new type helicopter/ plane is quieter than the historical gas driven motor helicopters. True? That will be a significant improvement in flying enjoyment!

  47. @MatrixRoland

    November 24, 2025 at 2:11 pm

Now you can die alone. No thanks
