    Apple’s advertising comments are disingenuous. They aren’t giving users control over their data privacy, they’re giving users the options to give Apple a monopoly on their advertising data and to only allow Apple to optimize ads directly to them. It’s not like their data will suddenly be locked in a safe and never used by anybody ever.

    This is what happens when a US President destroys the world’s respect for US power. The US people and companies now has to come to grips with the idea that other countries will impose their power on world trade, and ignore US interests.
