LOL self-driving! Not going to happen, guys, get over it. Imagine self-driving in somewhere like London. It is just NOT happening.

How do you know it’s not gunna happen?

Probably not unlike what the wright brothers heard over and over again about flying in a plane

It will easily happen in London in the next two decades, possibly within a decade.

My 2021 Lexus ES 350 has a pretty awesome ‘level 2’ where I don’t need to touch the gas and brake in stop n go LA highway drives which is amazing when driving to Palm Springs to visit Moms n has ok self steering as far as keeping in the lane etc

Per Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) data, Tesla is (one of) the safest cars in the world.
Unfortunately the presenter points out all the negative news about Tesla and is silent on the ACTUAL autonomous features Tesla has and is developing. Many of the touted features of the other car makers, Tesla already does as part of FSD or AP.
James Johnson

I though t this was a fair overview. Tesla has made some amazing progress but has some issues. Not as many as the headlines would have you believe IMO, but things that need addressed like phantom braking. The ‘seeking out’ of emergency vehicles I still don’t know whether it happens with the built-in autosteer or the beta FSD but either way I put that on the drivers, as they’re still supposed to be paying attention.
Anyway, more companies getting into the space means more competition (and eventually safer roads) so I hope they all get to a good place eventually.

I was shocked on my first cashout, I can’t believe I was able to have 48,000 worth of bitcoin in just two months and half of trading with . Expert Christian Thomas Clinton trading services. I came across some nice comments on Twitter and I gave it a shot! I didn’t believe in bitcoin.

If there is any progress that’s gonna be made on “full self-driving” technology, all the automakers need to get out of their silos and work on it TOGETHER!

Exactly! If they all worked under the same roof we would have solved most of the problems by now. They need to stop competing and work together
Charlie Doyle

Competition is a great idea in autonomy. Nobody knows exactly what combination of sensors, computation, and decision making will get to a scaleable autonomous car. Trying dozens of different ways is good.

That’s not how competition works in a free market. I guess you prefer communism over capitalism? Whatever floats your boat, I guess 🤷🏻♂️

Living a life of luxury is like a dream for some people and for others it’s constant reality, the key is having financial stability and strength but the question is how to. I don’t know who needs to hear this but stop saving all your money in the bank. Learn some new skills and lnvest your money if you want financial freedom…Of course having multiple streams of lncome is remunerative means to build wealth.

IMO, you should not use “self-driving” to describe any of those cars since none of them are L4 or L5. They are all driver assist systems. None of them are autonomous.

An autonomous car doesn’t have to be electric? Waymo for example…

The more tech in the car, the more expensive your repairs and the more expensive the car to buy. Just let me drive a low maintenance affordable car; I am not so lazy I can’t drive my own car.

What clickbait. All other manufacturers ‘will’ be bringing technology that you can already buy in a Tesla today. It isn’t perfect, but do we really expect other non-Tech companies to be flawless if/when they do launch? Driver assist features are there to aid us, not replace us (yet).
