I would think that with the USB-C power coonection that the same cable the  max use would work for wired connection to devices and DAPS.

    No EQ is a bummer…

    • @jacobperez8921

      September 22, 2026 at 2:37 pm

Hopefully Beats enable it through a future software update. 🙏

    • @utubethumbsup

      September 22, 2026 at 7:32 pm

Yep. Imagine spending $300 on a pair of headphones without EQ? Yikes.

A lotta pros and a lotta cons

  4. @colors6692

    September 22, 2026 at 2:16 pm

No one uses Beats anymore, they are cringe and not good

  5. @Athirn

    September 22, 2026 at 2:16 pm

The design is awesome. Too bad they lack cable connectivity. Beats Studio Pro look and feel quite old-school nowadays, but there are no better options if someone needs to work with sound or play games and wants to have headphones fully compatible with the Apple audio ecosystem.

  6. @nicholo1

    September 22, 2026 at 3:01 pm

oh wow they look so embarrassing on the head !

    Mix of AirPods max

  8. @Bigheadedwon

    September 22, 2026 at 3:46 pm

I just tried to buy 6 of the earcup sets. Apple’s limiting you to 3 pairs at the sale price lol

    Straight out of Teletubbies

I can’t wait to see a Frequency Response graph on these.

  12. @kykyblaze

    September 22, 2026 at 4:41 pm

No wear detection and no 3.5mm support. Well, not a go for me but nice design though.

  13. @Hof79905

    September 22, 2026 at 4:42 pm

The beats headphones look ridiculously stupid.

  14. @AM_9924

    September 22, 2026 at 4:54 pm

iPhone Duo and now these. Apple is on a good run right now.

  15. @j4ypanda

These are so 2010. Who even buys these?

  17. @doygwapo

      No they didn’t lmao.

  23. @lifegoeson1877

Look like the copied cmf headphones pro

  24. @afrausto95

    September 22, 2026 at 8:39 pm

Good noise reduction especially with the background noise going on and could hear your voice clearly 👍👍

  25. @HSNG10

    September 22, 2026 at 8:59 pm

No wired connection is a no go as we cannot use it during plane travel with the plane’s media system unless you bring along a Bluetooth dongle compatible with the plane’s sound system.

  26. @BarelyAverageDude

    September 23, 2026 at 1:08 am

No wired listening, even through USB-C, is a huge miss. I had these in the cart right up until that point.

It’s like they needed some features to only be on the AirPods Max 😅🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

  27. @lilchad_hd

    September 23, 2026 at 3:24 am

Similar to CMF Headphones by Nothing

  28. @ski1964rup

    Looks like something from Temu

  29. @naughtysauce4323

They neutered the bears studio soo much starting with the 3

  30. @FrostyIceman

    September 23, 2026 at 9:13 am

Can you help me? I am trying to decide between these and the Bose quiet comfort ultra gen 2 with WC SweatZ covers. I use them at the gym and listen to metalcore and edm for motivation. Thanks!

    • @davidcarnoy961

      September 23, 2026 at 4:22 pm

For gym use I’d get these

    • @FrostyIceman

      @davidcarnoy961thanks!

  31. @speedfire6

Great Review!, they look kinda bukly…

  32. @TheIrishMedievalArcher

    September 23, 2026 at 10:32 am

What about the volume? Are these louder than studio pro?

    Louder than studio 3?

Because studio 3 are louder than studio pro. Im really interested in this spec.

  33. @retiredcop527

    September 23, 2026 at 10:46 am

Got mine coming! Can’t wait! Your review just solidified my decision to purchase.

  34. @madferit808

    September 23, 2026 at 10:52 am

Great review. With some features missing, I will wait until they go on sale for $200. They look like Anker’s Soundcore headphones to me for some reason.

    • @ljune1

      September 23, 2026 at 12:49 pm

@madferit808 really like CMF Pro headphones shape and Raycon Fitness headphones swappable cushions

    • @bryan92496

      September 23, 2026 at 6:42 pm

@madferit808 They definitely copied Anker’s homework. They look VERY similar.

  35. @g33xzi11a

    September 23, 2026 at 11:03 am

Water resistance is so awesome. I live in a humid environment and headphones always end up getting moisture inside that interferes with normal operations.

  36. @Dev_elopMental

    September 23, 2026 at 11:34 am

Beats dropped the ball here by not implementing the H2 chip

  37. @Albert-xl3nx

    September 23, 2026 at 1:24 pm

Totally new and as expensive as ever

  38. @guitar-vita

    September 23, 2026 at 1:38 pm

    Better than AirPod max .

  39. @Cy_747

    September 23, 2026 at 1:48 pm

    very detailed review. thank you!

  40. @Jaypolomayne

    September 23, 2026 at 2:04 pm

These look ridiculous they look like they belong in the 80s

  41. @king510x

    September 23, 2026 at 2:18 pm

Hi David do you recommend I upgrade to these if I have the Sony xm5

    • @davidcarnoy961

      September 23, 2026 at 4:09 pm

Probably not (only if you really don’t like the Sonys, which are good headphones). The Beats have a little more bass

  42. @phraze91

    September 23, 2026 at 2:39 pm

How does the audio change when you swap from knit to pleather pads?

  43. @caliboyblue07

    September 23, 2026 at 2:52 pm

$350 and NO wired capabilities? smh

  44. @808islandlife_HI

    September 23, 2026 at 2:57 pm

    Best headphone reviewer on YouTube.

  45. @utex05

    September 23, 2026 at 4:42 pm

Expected better design. These look corny like ear muffs.

  46. @utex05

    September 23, 2026 at 4:46 pm

Very limited features….dont this dont that lol

  47. @d22i

    September 23, 2026 at 4:49 pm

Mic is terrible. No eq may have ruined it for me. I was going to just go out and buy these, but I wanted them to be bass heavy. They seemed like they couldve been a fantastic dedicated gym headphone, and they’re obviously not good enough to be a primary pair of headphones. But you want that bass heavy energy in the gym, and these just won’t deliver.

    • @davidcarnoy961

      September 23, 2026 at 5:48 pm

They have strong bass but maybe go for the Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC for bass you can feel 😊

  48. @shaunreihana9343

    September 23, 2026 at 6:14 pm

Why couldn’t they make the same size AirPods Max like Brad Pitt wore in f1?

  49. @dogcounter

    September 23, 2026 at 6:43 pm

I was so impressed when you demoed the mic in the street
