People act like this idea of deporting friendly, non-criminal, undocumented people is new. It’s NOT. Deportation of “unlawfully present” people has been the law of the land since 1891. If we collectively believe that unlawfully present people should NOT be deported under certain circumstances, we’ve had over 100 YEARS to make that clear in the law. But we didn’t. WE ALL FAILED.

I say we collectively help this Administration round up undocumented people. But instead of chasing people that can run or victimizing people that can’t defend themselves when they’re turned into political fodder, let’s go after the people that can’t run. The owners of businesses that knowingly hire these workers and claim decade after decade that they never knew. Had this Administration had the same disdain for those that hire the undocumented as they do for the actual undocumented, they would’ve had this solved already. Stop going to residences, schools, courthouses….all of that. Arrest the undocumented…..and hear me out, their employers at the place of business. Let’s treat the employers exactly the same. No due process, just an arrest and straight to jail. No judge, no count, nada. It’s clear that all of the ICE stuff is for show. Let’s destroy the actual culprits and instead of demonizing government employees, let’s put the blame where it lies, with farmers, contractors, the hospitality industry, restaurants, you name it. Arrest every last one of them, confiscate their businesses and wreck their livelihood. We can shut down most farms and the majority of all construction with little to no impact to anyone, right? Let’s get a bunch of US citizens doing those same jobs and asking for fair wages, safe working environments, and benefits. Let’s do this so we can see who actually cares about our citizens and the economy.

This administration is doing excellent deporting illegal immigrants. A person that I knew entered through CBP One last year and committed different crimes including aggravated assault and domestic violence against his female partner . He was arrested by the police and the ICE was outside of the police station and arrested that person after he was released. Weeks later he was deported. Thank you President Trump!
