    I find that I’m usually slightly worse at things when people are present, it’s like a part of my brain is dedicated to keeping an eye on them, or thinking about what they might be thinking about. And this in turn often makes me act deliberately recklessly, like when I’m playing video games, or flying a drone.
    It’s like my brain makes me purposely worse at things to prove to me that I don’t really care about being the best at something. Almost like I’m protecting my ego by knowing that I could have done better.
