That is really dependent on the outcome of life, if it turns out great i would say keep going, if it turns out disastrous i would say change

Oh my goodness, the question “What would your deathbed self tell you today?” hit me so hard I almost dropped my phone, because wow, every time I imagine 98‑year‑old Luise lying there with her fluffy socks and her dramatic wisdom, she’s always shaking her head at me like “Ha! Sweetheart, why were you stressing about emails when you could’ve been living?” and honestly it reminds me of that one afternoon when I was spiraling over a tiny mistake at work, pacing around like a malfunctioning GPS, and suddenly I heard myself whisper “Girl… in 60 years, will this even matter?” and the silence that followed was so loud I had to sit down, because goodness, my future self is not gentle, she’s the type to grab my shoulders and say “Stop shrinking, stop waiting, stop acting like you have unlimited Tuesdays,” and the funniest part is that she always shows up at the most random times, like when I’m reorganizing my pantry at 11 PM or eating cereal for dinner, and she’ll say “Right… you know you’re allowed to want more, yes?” and I’ll roll my eyes like “I know, I know,” but deep down I feel it, that tug, that nudge, that little cosmic push that says “Live now, not later,” and honestly if she could talk to me today, she’d probably yell “Please stop doubting yourself, please stop dimming your light, and for the love of all things holy, stop wasting time on people who drain your battery,” and I’d be standing there in my kitchen whispering “Oh wow… noted,” while trying not to cry into my tea.

I have a practice of writing a 30 day letter from my future self,
a 90 day letter from my future self, and an annual letter from my future self.

Predicting your own future deathbed is a fool’s errand. Until you arrive, you have no idea. You can fantasize, but you’ll never know. You don’t even know what future options will be available for anything you think is bad today (say cancer, Alzheimer, Parkinson, heart issues…)

I was on my death bed in September 2005 when I fell in a coma after a car accident. Doctors said I was never meant to survive. I wake up and doctors diagnose me to be a quadriplegic for the rest of my life. I’m completely recovered now. I just thought and accepted than I was dead. By doing so I got the courage to overcome any and all human limitations
