Normal popsockets work fine and I feel like they will hold up way longer than these new ones

Lol, I was so confused by the title of this video at first. I get it now, and that’s a cool product, but I’m blind 😂 so I don’t need to prop up my phone to watch the screen hands-free.

I had one and it was nice. However it got kind of bent out of shape after a while and never went back down flat again after a while.

I have been using the oh-snap for a couple years. It is great so I have no need at the moment for anything else.
@julianM2181
June 19, 2026 at 12:25 pm
Come on Bridget, you know the Oh Snap grip is better and you know it. Pop socket is not reinventing the wheel here
@AlexdeLeon
June 19, 2026 at 12:38 pm
I have never used any of those, but I can confirm they look weird. Now that I’m seeing that people liked the old big sockets, migh I’ll try somethin that is not bulky. And talking about bulky, Apple and Samsung should manufacture pants with big pockets to fit their smartphones.

This is not what I expect from “One more thing”, this is just product placement, and of a very uninteresting product at that, I hope this doesn’t stick and we get an actual episode next week.

I am a guy and don’t mind the traditional thick, accordion style popsockets. I have a collection of different grips to go with my iPhone wallpapers. I also like the fact that I can mount my iPhone on a popsocket holder in the car.
@Pamela-Fg
June 19, 2026 at 7:40 pm
Gotta really drop that price down. 20-25$ would be the sweet point and people would be more inclined to buy them. ….

June 19, 2026 at 10:13 pm
I’ve liked my Popsocket which I got because of how big my new phone is after many years of seeing people with them. This would be a great upgrade with how my phone is already thick, but I’d only buy it if it wasn’t from Apple :/

I have a similar pop handle on my iPad, probably made by a competitor since a little thicker. $40 seems too expensive. I wouldn’t spend over $20 for this device.

I don’t need assistance holding my phone but I need something where I can keep it vertical or horizontal. The typical rings work pretty good. A product looking to solve a problem?

I was in Boulder when he was taking his company through TechStars, and saw his pitch and definitely did not think it would be as successful as it has been. They proved me wrong and I love my pop socket even though I do find my pop socket gets stuck in my pocket and want something thinner. I wish there was a way to keep it on and charge or mount through it. Taking things off to charge or mount to the dash is annoying.

I started with a Pop Socket that clung to my iPhone XS, but when I got my iPhone 13 Mini, I switched to a MagSafe one. Now, I’ve taken it a step further and upgraded the latter to a Kick-Out Grip & Stand. I’m not really into fidget toys, so I don’t think I’ll be upgrading again anytime soon.
Thanks for the content.

I am a long time Ohsnap user, and I find it hard to believe this would knock it off the back of my phone, escpecially the OhSnap version with a Stand build in.
