Subscriptions for wearables shouldn’t be a thing. I think that if you are paying for the device. Everything else should be free. Especially if you are paying for a cellular device.

I’d use an extra fitness band or device for extra sensors or battery life

for me it’s simple they all need much longer battery life, and I mean much more.
    Not this 3 day crap.

You need to start talking about the Garmin watches too. I was impressed over the Garmin fenix 6. It has great battery life and health features too. The mapping is great for hikers and runners. Please add Garmin watches to your stories.

I wish they’d figure out a way to get 7 days out of the battery without disabling everything. 40 hours just doesn’t cut it.

Smartwatch battery techology is the biggest letdown. They need to improve this and screens that don’t use much power. This is were the hybrid watch like withings and fossile hybrid win.

So far the ticwatch has it over many smart watches as the battery lasts longer due to dual screen.

They really need to get far better battery life, even using solar cells and body heat to power the battery, even kentic tech. Nothing worse than seeing a dead screen or dull display that’s always on

This is why I like the withings, can always see thr time, no dead screen and looks like a watch with everything on afterc10 days it’s only down to a out 50% battery life.

Smart watches need to aim for at least a weeks battery life.

There had been e ink smart watches with long battery life, the pebble was one. We wo t see improvements with the present battery and screen tech, if not will only get worse with adding new sensors and features.

If you cannot use all the features to the max without effecting battery life then it defeats the purpose of having these.

I won’t get an apple watch, they just have about one of the poorest battery life. Things need to improve before I get a smart watch. Am happy with my withings scan watch, they strick a balance with smart features and fitness features, but giving a long battery life

Apple watch? Hopefully more than just 18 HOURS of batter life for a watch that costs £700! Absolutely mindless!

I had the apple watch, never could get used to the shape of it. Jumped to Samsung and been getting the updated watches since the gear S3. I have the MacBook pro m1 max and iPad pro. I wish Apple would make a round watch so I can consider going back to an iPhone and Apple watch.
