CNET, worst new corporate logo ever. Nondescript and generic and hard to read on many devices, definitely not rapidly identifiable

Yeah i don’t like it or the new website. I did not realized that CBS sold them to Red Ventures in 2020.

Love the reactions during the on-ride footage. More entertaining than the ride!
Oouph! Cannot ignore the new CNET logo. The most gratuitous use of serif I have ever seen. Why? And the there is the spacing. Who approved this? It looks like a really bad logo from the mid 70s.

Imagineers bring back Star Trek The Experience Teleporter from the Las Vegas Hilton? Been done before in the 90s. It was cool back then to be in the Hilton hotel and then instantly be on a fully crewed bridge of the Enterprise.

If you get motion sickness from spinning in a 360 motion should you not ride?

    • Bridget Carey

      May 7, 2022 at 1:25 am

The motion sick feeling for me was brief, and for one particular effect in the ride. I get sensitive to that stuff (I don’t like teacups) and it wasn’t bad doing the ride the first time. Went on again and sat in the back where you can feel the pull more and got woozy and needed a break. In total I went on it four times and I’d say row 5 (the middle) is easier on the motion feels and just don’t white knuckle it. You are never spinning in a circle, the turns are very smooth like dancing.

Not gonna lie was a little sad there was no animatronic. But there were some fun effects in other ways.

Does it feel like it belongs in EPCOT? Like an imagination/ science/ learning thing? Or does it feel like it was just randomly shoved in there?

    • small_potato

      May 7, 2022 at 2:27 pm

Sorta it has to do with space travel so I would guess so. They already got another roller coaster being built in magic kingdom. Plus there isn’t many rides at Epcot so it’s something else to look forward too

At 1:50 just like i am looking to Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, right? 😅😅

  27. William Rayburn

    May 7, 2022 at 2:34 pm

I cannot afford to go to Disney, so I should not have an opinion on a ride I will never go on…..however it def looks fun, especially for kids of all ages. That Rocket voice is unmistakably NOT Bradley Cooper, takes me out of it quite a bit. Although having (almost) all the actors in full makeup /costume show up for this is nice. Especially Glenn Close, wow really did not expect that?!

I for one really dig the new logo design that others here seem, very vocal about trashing it. I don’t know about the website, quite 90’s throwback which is odd but at least it’s different. Cheers 👍🏼

that looked pretty intense for epcot. I thought it was going to be more of a virtual thing, love those, but this looks more like space MT on steroids, gives me a headache.
