Would like to see Samsung return to manufacturing 3D TVs again.

      January 6, 2021 at 6:45 pm

@MR NON PC ” Let’s not beat around the bush: 3D TV is dead. It’s sad news for those who are 3D fans, but it’s time to face facts. No 3D TVs are being made. In fact, most manufacturers stopped making them in 2016.”

    • Jianthonnie Rojas

      January 6, 2021 at 6:48 pm

@MR NON PC I will say that the next Avatar movies are being filmed in 3d and the first one was the one that lead to the boom of 3D, so I will never say never but I just think is very unlikely to be a thing.

    • MR NON PC

      January 6, 2021 at 7:01 pm

@Jianthonnie Rojas You are wrong again. Before the Governor ordered the theaters closed most every movie we would go to see in a theater was a 3D movie. Yes the tickets cost a few dollars more, but we were very pleased, and the 3D effects have only got better over the years. As for the glasses there are two types based on the brand of tv you have. Theaters uses passive glasses no charging necessary. Active glasses are charged by a micro USB port. That’s what our Samsung tv uses. When we wanted additional pairs we just bought them on Amazon. The next 3D movie we plan on buying is WW4 when it’s released on BlueRay. BYW If you want to enjoy a 3D movie at home I have seen people selling used ones on eBay. We haven’t had any problem with ours yet, but if it ever does have a problem I’ll definitely get it fixed because we enjoy watching 3D movies.

    • MR NON PC

      January 6, 2021 at 7:09 pm

@Jianthonnie Rojas Sorry to keep pointing out your misinformed opinions, but 3D TVs aren’t dead. My step son who likes to vacation in Japan informed me that new 3D TVs are still being sold there. You really should take a look on Amazon to see all the 3D movies that are available.

@MR NON PC I will agree to disagree, but you have yourself a great day.

8:50 – if one would want to go really “green”, it will just skip buying this new TV set and along with the packaging it would save the Earth from tall those toxic chemicals and minerals embeded in its elecronics.

      January 7, 2021 at 4:02 pm

ikr! I really felt like I was watching an Apple Keynote multiple times. The presentation could’ve been a bit more minimalistic in many areas, but still, I think Samsung deserves an award for their fairly decent copycat skills! 😂

      January 7, 2021 at 6:53 pm

@Luke Missirian-Parise what did they copy exactly?

    • D'h

      January 8, 2021 at 7:39 am

      @Luke Missirian-Parise they’re not copying lmao..
Maybe they hiring same director for making these events..
Apple don’t make their own production events , but they hiring people for making it for ’em.

Idk about solar powered remote.. if it stops charging what happens then?

    • Martin Chitembo

      January 6, 2021 at 8:03 pm

You can still charge it via USB C on the bottom part.

    • Josh McCarty

      January 6, 2021 at 11:56 pm

You can buy another one as well

    • hankster0878

      January 7, 2021 at 1:56 am

Or use the app on your phone which will most likely be better than the standard remote anyway.
