It can also be seen how people on general reflect their times and conditions as well as thoughts on society through their fashion.

If this was just *any* analysis, but with the connection to black culture it’s important. It’s easy to forget their relevance because the players have money. Black fashion in America is fascinating.

wow…. TED talks have really devolved
there’s plenty of relevant subject matter to cover the social and cultural impact of professional athletes, celebrities etc….. but a TED talk focused exclusively on the fashion choices of a single sports league…. a bit thin IMO
