Having seen the progression Maya’s gone on in these past years from COVID til now, this really feels like such a big moment. ngl got a little teary eyed – how much she and everyone at Alveus have been able to accomplish so far is really inspiring and its really amazing seeing someone’s dreams coming to fruition in this way.

There are ways to rehabilitate animals to be released back into the wild so it’s kinda the same thing. I think there’s a official video about it on the Alveus sanctuary youtube that gives a full rundown of what’s happening and how it’ll work. But the animals will basically have very minimal human interaction if at all and the way the space will be set up will make it so they can do what they do naturally. I’m no expert on the subject so I can’t explain it well but they won’t be treated as pets and there is a serious plan in place so imprinting won’t happen
