Am I the only one rolling my eyes right now? Putting this in a short just seems so tone deaf… I’m sure the long form talk was better but without any of the pretense or build up this falls flat

    • @dreamangelsgarden

      April 20, 2026 at 11:49 am

For me, everything she says interest me, and I’m always ready to learn more, so it’ll make me click to find the full version… so this short was well placed, for someone interested in more financial control

    It was great talk

  5. @rwyford

I had never thought about the “good ‘ole boys club” talking about money constantly, but elsewhere it’s avoided.

    April 20, 2026 at 2:45 pm

Oh yay more tone deaf rich people who are giving false hope to the poor

  7. @Gharial555

She was a former Wallstreet Trader who cashed out, and is now paid to go around and convince the rest of us that it’s our fault for being a victim of wealth inequality. Demand more from your politicians.

  8. @niccolom

    April 21, 2026 at 2:28 pm

The thing is, many people who are broke hate the rich and therefore refuse to learn the financial language.
They feel that they deserve everything simply for being alive.
I blame the education system, as well as 21st century parenting, for instilling this sense of taking everything, including their own survival, for granted.
