As an iPhone X 2017 owner, we will see one like this from Apple in the year 2030 😭

As the old saying goes, Android phones crawl so Apple can run.
In terms of new ideas and tech at least.

Why does the fold not have a bluetooth pen insert like the note? That would make this phone even more amazing.

If this was selling for $1,000 then this would be a game changer. Apple would have lost so many iPhone user. Samsung really not thinking.

Productivity wise, Surface duo blows this out of the water.

    • E. Fox

      September 1, 2020 at 7:25 pm

How do you figure? Because of the wider screen?
Honestly I’ve been super excited for the Duo, but this does seem like a much more polished product. Thicker sure, but better bezels, better camera, better multi-task support. I dont know, its a toss-up.

4:41 is anyone else bothered by that annotation that you can’t swipe away?? 😂😂

  17. David Ko

    September 1, 2020 at 7:09 pm

Nope, it doesn’t have a 4K screen, and also it doesn’t have two symmetrical front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos for true stereo sound like the Sony Xperia 1 ii. Also, it doesn’t have a gimbal camera system for better stabilization like the Vivo X50 Pro. I’ll pass on the Z Fold 2.

    • Abdullah Bou hamdan

      September 1, 2020 at 8:14 pm

Thats bit the goal of the z fold, you still have good sound quality on it, maybe fold 3 will have what you want but imo the fold 2 is perfect for me (if i had the money)

    • David Ko

      September 1, 2020 at 8:39 pm

      @Abdullah Bou hamdan It’s not worth $2,000.

    Thank you Samsung

  19. Kingpuppet

is there still a crease in the middle?

    • Wolfknight16

      September 2, 2020 at 3:22 pm

Yes. Until they create a new material (i do mean new, not some thin glass crap) there will be a crease but once you start using foldable phones it doesn’t bother you that much. Still with a 2000 price tag I would hold off.

    • Kingpuppet

      September 3, 2020 at 9:14 am

Wolfknight16 I wouldn’t buy it personally. I prefer apple over android. I’m excited to see how foldable devices develop in the future. Crease free and more robust I hope.

    • Wolfknight16

      September 3, 2020 at 11:11 am

@Kingpuppet I agree on the potential future of Foldables. Personally, I like it but its way too expensive. I do hope they are able to remove the crease and make it cheaper in the future. Plus, if they were to hide the cameras behind the screen, it would look better.

If it only had a display that could use the s pen

  21. J K

    September 1, 2020 at 8:01 pm

Samsung should kill the Note line and add pen feature to the Flip. I would love to use Flip to draw schema diagrams for developments and use it as my daily smart phone instead of carrying a large Note cellphone with a tablet

  22. Mike Marder

Of course! $2000 for a phone! Since I can no longer afford food, isn’t it great it can fold into a sandwich!

  23. Belinda Williams

    September 1, 2020 at 8:47 pm

I’m sad that no buds are included this time. 😭

    • lasest2

      September 2, 2020 at 1:51 am

To be honest if you can afford to spend $2000 on the phone, you will have no problem buying a pair. (And I recommend getting One plus buds- 7 hours of battery listening and comfortable fit)

    • Belinda Williams

      September 2, 2020 at 4:06 am

@lasest2 Luckily I will not have to spend quite as much this time, including buying the watch and buds, because I bought the original Fold. As long as they give my the full trade-in it will actually cost me less for 3 items this time. I saved for over a year to buy the Fold. Thank you for the One Plus buds recommendation 🙂 but I really prefer the look of the “beans”. Worst case scenario I can always fall back on my old Buds but they itch (allergy? 🤔) and sometimes hurt my small ears so hopefully not.

Whoaaà there’s a new samsung model? Im using the S5 🤣

  25. joe jacob

    September 1, 2020 at 11:28 pm

I wish they will make bigger screen while it’s closed with Note S pen would be amazing, I’ll skip it for now maybe next Gen, right now I’m so satisfied with my note 20 ultra line, more power to SAMSUNG,

  26. No Name

    September 2, 2020 at 1:17 am

So it has galaxy s10 cameras, no expandable storage and does not come with earbuds and a cases like previous model had. In addition to being more expensive. I still cool but come on its a 2k phone….

  27. Matthew Howell

    September 2, 2020 at 2:13 am

But can it make phone calls?

    • Nuno Henrique Merino

U get that durability of the screen is a worry. But use the 1st gen as benchmarking. It has survived and it does not need to be babied at all.
