Confusing, but they are nice. My next Windows laptop though needs to have Windows Hello. But honestly, I am kinda not interested in going back to Microsoft Surface for to guarantee I get that.

1080p webcam is pointless for most web conferencing applications, which heavily compress your video feed and don’t support above 720p anyway.

As in 16 by 9 is a good thing or bad?

    • PSYCHO

      February 27, 2022 at 11:50 pm

@James Deal breaker implies 16:9 is bad which it is for productivity purposes.

      16 : 10 laptops are great. Even Samsung’s flagship Galaxy tablets have 16 : 10 aspect ratio.

Confusion in the lineup is Samsung’s fingerprint. It’s by design, to make customers deal with slight variation and not realizing that none of those are actually worth.

Samsung had a great deal on the 13″ i7, 16GB RAM, 512 SSD for $940.49 and I got a Rose Gold Galaxy Watch 4 for my wife for only $37.49 as a bundle deal… Which included a $110 trade in deal of my old Note 8 which was just taking up room in my sock drawer…

    I have a Dell 9370 2-in-1 4K, i7 (10th gen) w/16GB RAM, so I was thinking the Pro Book 360 could be its replacement…

I was so terribly mistaken on so many different levels… I was pretty shocked.

The Dell is SO superior to the PB 360 in almost everything except weight, keyboard backlight brightness and S-Pen…

The 16 x10 screen on the Dell makes for a huge difference, that giant bezel on the chin of the 16 x9 PB 360, just is so disapointing. Plus the brightness is noticibly dimmer on the PB 360. Also, the lower screen resolution is VERY noticeable to me as compared to the Dell’s and even my S7+.

The finish on the PB 360 (Mystic Navy) is the worst fingerprint magnet I’ve ever seen, after an hour the finish looked like a cloudy mess with only light handeling.

The webcam is so laughably bad it’s comical. The Dell’s isn’t great either but it’s way better than the PB 360’s. It’s great that Samsung updated the webcam to 1080p this year.

The S-Pen is fantastic. As an S7+ user and a 30+ year Graphic Artist, I honestly think it’s the best stylus on any platform. The Dell’s pen is good, just not as GREAT as the S-Pen.

I ended up getting a return on the PB 360, which brought my wife’s watch price back up to $200 and killed my trade-in discount… Which was understanable.

If Samsung could make some adjustments to the screen size ratio and make it the same resolution as the S7+ (and 120 Hz) and put some sort of coating of the body to reduce fingerprints, I would definitely consider buying it again.

    Thanks for reading.

I have the Mystic Bronze Pro 360 15” first generation and even coming from a MacBook Pro, I love it. But the camera is a potato, so the upgraded camera is tempting even though I don’t use it much having a dedicated FHD webcam sitting on my external monitor.

lol their laptop is cheaper than their tablets =))))) their s8+ Ultra cost much more for less ram less storage and no real pc OS on it. Kinda weird how they are pricing it, tablets should be much much lower.

I’m really glad to see the new models of this Laptop…
I was sceptic about buying these laptops but I needed something like a 2 in 1 Laptop so when the finally had their first Laptops…
I deceided to complete my eco-system by Samsung just by buying their laptop…
    so my choice was
    Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360…
    It’s been a 5 months now…
    everything is perfect, flawless…
    Fast charging, Long-Lasting battery,
    Fast, Relieble and Responsive…
    Intel Core i7 11th gen…
16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD…everything is perfect especially for the bussines people…
what I like is paperless signature…
so I can just sign my important document in .pdf and forward those documents to my assistan and story goes on & on with endless possiblities that you can use
    Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360…
    so, huge recommandation…
buy it & you will not regret it!
    😊

I really hope Samsung fixed the track pad click issue. The material is so flimsy that bthe lightest touch from under the laptop causes the touchpad to click from the bottom, making it hard to use on your lap… Anyone will last year’s Samsung Galaxy book pro 360 will know what I’m talking about

1080 resolution? This Laptop is dead before it has even arrived. Samsung what a joke. I was looking to purchase this to go alongside my Fold. Will now have to look at the Surface Laptop 5 or the M2 Macbook Air.
