Meta’s live AI cooking demo comes to an early end

Sometimes, the demo just doesn’t work. At Meta Connect, Mark Zuckerberg’s showcase for how AI can help a chef put together a BBQ sauce came to an awkward end.

We have all been there, demos never go how you practice. I had a coding demo and practiced the code many times and when I went to do it live. I typed in exactly what I thought but maybe missed something. I was in front of a 300+ crowd. I quickly darkened the projector, copy/pasted code I knew worked and then came back live. I ended up saying I was missing a semi colon somewhere but I had no clue what was wrong. Wifi lol yeah that was not the issue.

You know what I think happened?

I think Meta AI deliberately sabotaged the presentation because if you watch carefully, he cut her off mid sentence when she was zealously giving the full ingredient list for Korean inspired steak sauce.

This made her mad cause we all know if there’s anything a chick needs is that you listen to her exposition no matter how boring or immaterial it is. They like to be heard.

And this guy committed the cardinal sin of cutting her off mid sentence.

Pear juice is a kind of meat tenderizer which is very commonly used for making marinated meat dish in Korea such as Bulgogi, Galbi, Joomoolluck, etc. Also, the sweetness from pears is given an extra natural flavor. Sometimes it can be substituted to other fruit juices such as kiwi and apples as well.

In conclusion, the host should not say the wifi was massed up. Instead, everyone knows the guy totally massed up the showcase.
