If she criticizes it – no more sending a phone her before the official sales. Take this into account about thinking if she is honest reviewer

you are awesome– always enjoy your reviews– I’m curious if you had a choice what color would you prefer– not sure if yours was a test unit or if you bought it outright

Damn! It’s no wonder the $2,000 iPhone Duo sold out instantly, as it looks incredible for a first-gen Fold. Then again, Apple users don’t speak broke 😁

These are the deal breakers for me on the iPhone Duo:
1. Inferior camera (no telephoto lens).
2. No Face ID .
3. Passport size is just the wrong size for those who don’t wear cargo pants or baggie pants (It won’t fit into the hip pocket of my skinny pants).
4. Has someone tried to hold the Duo up to your ear to make a phone call? It might look absolutely idiotic.
5. Has someone tried to open it with one hand? It is almost impossible.

@texassimon I am pretty sure that it is impossible to open any foldable phone with one hand

@Flowrilla_67 it’s not a tricorder 😂 it’s funny to see some reviewers do a hard flick to get the inner screen to open as if it’s some 1960s Star Trek prop

I don’t want to go back to TouchID. I’m keeping my 16 pro max.

You’re literally the only person who said apple nailed it. Everyone else says it’s bad and 1st Gen tech. 🤔 Apple must have given you something for this review.

Abrar – Just another fantastic review, I love how positive your reviews are and I don’t mean that you don’t point out the downsides, you are just thoughtful and give us what we need to know. And, as a resident of SF, you really know how to show off the City!! Thank you!!

So many Duo reviews, so little time 😂 This is a good review that keeps it around 10 minutes instead of blabbing on for 30.

Great video. I’ll be getting the Duo in mid November. Question though.. where would you put the face id sensor? you’ll have to rotate the phone at one point or another, or close the screen everytime you need to use face id? Foldable phones have their puzzles to work out.. that’s for sure.
@SkepticalRaptor

I almost bought it, but the lack of telephoto and Touch ID rather than Face ID convinced me to consider the iPhone 18 Pro.

I would rather have a 16e with Face ID , I can’t go back to Touch ID, brings back memorise of my 8 Plus

Nobody’s mentioning the fact that the iPhone Duo weighs more than the 18 Pro Max. It will drag down pockets and jackets making it incredibly impractical for me.
