Ok but, where’s the fun where you can’t ring the bell and run away

Lol, this reminds me of my childhood. As little kids, we thought ringing bells and running away was fun. I had forgotten all about those games, so thanks for making me laugh.

Wow what Junk. My 5 year old Nest Cam runs circles around this. This is probably some $20 dollar Chinese rebranded doorbell. Anyone who buys this is a fool.

That night vision was terrible, because of the poor placement reflecting too much infrared light to throw off the contrast balance. Maybe a follow up video without it angled to capture so much brick wall off to the left of the image, is in order?

Currently, I use a Google nest doorbell.. I don’t have a problem with a 10-second delay as sometimes it takes my Google as much as 10 minutes to send me a notification.. In fact, half the time, I don’t get a notification when packages are left with Google.

Secondly, saving $6 a month in monthly subscription fees makes this very appealing. As for the night vision, I have zero concerns there, as my porch and front yard are very well illuminated by a porch light as well as landscape lighting.

The wall to the side reflects too much IR light destroying the nightvision AE… I have the basic version and noticed that too, use the angled mount and you will see night vision will be a lot better

Yeah. These guys are noobs. That’s like night vision 101 knowledge.

In this day and age eufy needs to make the exact same doorbell but for people’s for apartments…. Stop making things just for rich house owners

Make a video for the Unifi Doorbest.
I think it’s the best and even better then ring

    March 24, 2022 at 8:11 pm

The camera was too close to the wall. You could see the infrared lights hitting it on the left side there. Move it over a little and it will be fine.

Unacceptable. My video doorbell needs to stream in 4K, provide a quad camera array and alert me that packages have arrived before they have been delivered.

    March 25, 2022 at 12:13 am

Has a test been ran to see if wired method eliminates the notification delay?

  20. Gavin Miller

    March 25, 2022 at 1:54 am

IT’S A DOORBELL CAM IT’S NOT ONE OF THE CAMERAS THAT GO ON THE SIDES OF YOUR HOME

  21. Butch Lane

    March 25, 2022 at 7:04 am

It’s worth noting that it would likely be a fairly rare event that anyone would be standing in front of the camera in darkness. Anyone concerned about security would undoubtedly also have exterior lighting on motion sensors or timers as well.

It’s worth noting that anyone concerned about security would undoubtedly also have exterior lighting on motion sensors or timers. So it’s unlikely that anyone standing in front of the camera would ever be in darkness.

Except wired doorbells are way better, which is why i got the Arlo instead of the eufy

Kudos on the pull test. A very real concern for the investment. Wish all reviewers did something like this as well

I have the previous model (one camera). Work very well without subscription, including connection through 3 or 4G phone app. There is still a delay but it is true for all device so at decided to picked EUFY because of the recording base to be used with multiple EUFY devices and no subscription fees.

    260 bucks?!?
I got my ring wired video doorbell for 35 bucks
I never have to charge it and has the essential features you need in a doorbell camera with a good app to go with it
    Girl, bye

Can you test if see those blister pack envelopes are recognized by the lower cam? It seems Amazon delivers quite a few deliveries this way.
