Crazy how AI is already good enough to trick our eyes 👀… but the real question is: how long before we can’t tell anymore? I’ve been looking at some insane AI tools lately, and honestly, some of them feel straight out of sci-fi.

Let’s be for real. I would say within 6 months

What is real or not? certainly is not clear anymore in an analogy is as the contrast between false information and real information.

I’ve been a photographer since I was 7 years old. I became an army photojournalist for 15 years. Even my trained eyes have trouble distinguishing between real and AI.

To be fair, misinformation has been a problem since information became so easily widespread. Generative AI at least forces people to be more aware of it due to the ease of access plus potential impact.

Not ai, but the same sort of deception, is the video game imagery being passed off as reality.

Great message delivered at the end. We’re at a point in time where we need to always question if what we’re reading or looking at is truth. Just because you want to believe it doesn’t make it factual.

This video has been added to the training videos for generative AI 😂😂😂

What if generative AI can take all of this into account when generating images? I guess we just have to accept that images can lie the same way people, or the written word can. The only way to tell will be context.

These costumes did not throw away their shot #TEDTalks

If you’ve ever been swept away by the worlds of “Wicked,” “Hamilton” or “West Side Story,” you’ve seen Paul Tazewell’s breathtaking costumes. The Oscar-winning designer (whose work features in “Wicked: For Good”) explores the subconscious language of clothing and how it shapes who we view as heroes — and who we view as villains.
