Bad title. $599 is not $500, it’s $600. That’s exactly why everything is priced ending in -99 though, people only look at the numbers before it.

@TJDawgs72A lot of channels now use A/B test on their thumbnails and/or titles. It’s not uncommon you’d see the same video titles and thumbnails changes

iPhone 17e and Pro max don’t share the same demographic at all, this video is useless and would have been a lot more interesting if it was 17 vs 17e.

  23. @SoteroMurguia

I have a $70 phone I got at Walmart that does everything I need: it makes phone calls, text messages, and runs apps. It can also take pictures. Paying hundreds of dollars for a phone is asinine.

    • @ronaldmcdonald6067

      April 30, 2026 at 2:17 am

Just say you are okay with low standards, not everyone is like that though

    • @omgitshere

      April 30, 2026 at 2:44 am

@ronaldmcdonald6067 I don’t think they’re low standards, at all. They’re practical standards that meet everyday needs of everyday people. Very few people need the ultra fancy camera functions of high-end iPhone models, people just like to cosplay as professional photographers or artists, when really a basic photo will do.

    • @Jay-k1t8t

      April 30, 2026 at 8:06 am

@omgitsheresome people want nicer photos. Budget phones have really terrible cameras that struggle. You recognise your own needs but struggle to understand that people outside your world have other needs.

New tech barely trickles down, an old used flagship would still be infinitely better than the instant landfill device you got.

The better comparison would have been the 17e vs the 17 because anybody who is contemplating buying the 17e is definitely not looking at a pro Max.

  40. @DavidRamirez-vc8dr

Pro Max? Nah. Huge phones are a cancer. Bring back the mini.

Your daily coffee might be doing more than waking you up.

A new study published in Nature Communications found that regular coffee consumption may positively affect the link between digestion, mood, and cognition. Researchers also found no major change in physiological stress markers like cortisol linked to coffee consumption, suggesting coffee may not actually increase the body’s stress response under normal conditions.
