Thanks for watching (pun intended!) What’s on your wrist?

Series 6. I’m guessing no real reason to upgrade?

Series 4 Nike Aluminum, works so well that no upgrade is needed. The AOD is a minor upgrade imo, and extra screensize is meh for what I use it for.

      April 29, 2022 at 3:54 pm

Series 4. I could get the next watch completely reimbursed but the Series 4 does everything I need it to do.

Is the battery still crap? If it is no thanks. Bought series 6 then sold it few month later tired of charing it every night.

I think the series 7 is great. Don’t mind charging my watch while I watch TV in the evening, or when I shower in the morning. No biggie.

    • Jt Howard

      April 27, 2022 at 7:04 pm

Yeah I typically throw mine on while showering and while I get dressed

Are there people who still have the $10,000 Series 1? 😅

  6. Mikey B

    April 27, 2022 at 6:34 pm

i too have the 41mm..It really is a hassle when you need to fix a mistake when texting..really hope they find a fix for that

Thank you for addressing the SMS text message situation, that has happened to me many times. I thought something was wrong with mine

Just bought this Series 7 exactly a week ago and this video definitely made my purchase worth it. My first time using an Apple Watch and I am loving this Series 7 so far. Have you wear any cases or bumpers for the watch in the span of 7 months of use?

    • Lexy Savvides

      April 27, 2022 at 8:36 pm

No I haven’t used any case, bumpers or screen protectors!

  11. Jt Howard

    April 27, 2022 at 7:06 pm

Battery life has never been a problem for me on my s6. The only time I find myself wishing I had either faster charging or a larger battery is when I forget to charge it at night or while I’m showering

  12. umkc73

    April 27, 2022 at 7:32 pm

New logo was over thought. Return to the old one. If it ain’t broke..

  13. Craig Taylor

    April 27, 2022 at 7:59 pm

I was very happy with my AW7 (45mm aluminium) and the screen got a lovely scratch on it. First scratch I have EVER had on an Apple Watch, so the first in 4 years?! I sold that, got the Stainless Steel with the sapphire glass and much happier now. I really think the screen can scratch easier than previous years on the aluminium models.

    • Lorenzo Hudlun

      April 27, 2022 at 8:42 pm

That’s One Of The Reasons Why I Went With The Stainless Steel Model For The Series 6. I Upgraded From The Aluminum Series 3 Apple Watch & Decided To Go More Premium Because Of The Scratch Resistance On The More Expensive Model Apple Watch.

    • James Ryan

      April 28, 2022 at 12:24 am

@Lorenzo Hudlun same, AW7 from a 2 which was very scratched

  14. Daniel Mendes

    April 27, 2022 at 8:19 pm

This must be the worst logo CNET ever had in its existence.

  15. skyemac8

    April 27, 2022 at 8:56 pm

CNET’s new logo looks suspiciously like the Apple news app.

  16. Darren Landford

    April 27, 2022 at 10:05 pm

The battery life was a deal breaker for me. So after wasting so much money on watches to find the perfect one, I settled on a Garmin.

    • LazarLazar#FAN

      April 28, 2022 at 1:21 am

I agree with you garmins are amazing but they’re crazy expensive

    • Darren Landford

      April 28, 2022 at 1:30 am

Yes they are. I’d love to get a Fenix 7s Solar but can’t justify the huge price tag.

I know they’re releasing the Apple Watch series 8 in September but I’d rather get rather S7 cause I don’t really need the current announced features

  22. L A

    April 27, 2022 at 11:53 pm

Apple just had to be different and make it square. Works well but looks ugly like a kid’s toy. In fact if you go on Amazon there’s about 20 watches that are for children. The Crown interface It’s not very good. They’re far better out there.

  23. James Ryan

    April 28, 2022 at 12:23 am

Looking forward to low power mode, hopefully updated texting and voice to text (stop unintentionally weird messages), better running metrics (like a Garmin) and better fitness metrics (some they advertise like VO2 max but are wrong or formula driven).
Going to gift my SS 45mm AW7 once a Garmin watch leased in Australia has inbuilt emergency LTE calling. Might be a while though.

Thanks for the review. I am still waiting for Apple to put a foldable dual battery pack screens so I can expand the screen and search the web as well as watch videos with my watch😉

I came from the Series 1 and it is an incredible upgrade!

    • Spencer Ulrich

      April 28, 2022 at 2:36 pm

I am still rocking my series 1, definitely feels outdated compared to my 12promax, but not super outdated, got it in December of 2015, and still going strong, I’m waiting until they switch to a flat design before I upgrade

    • nicklk

      April 30, 2022 at 4:46 am

@Spencer Ulrich My battery expanded and pushed out my screen, literally fell out.

The GPS function with the new ones is incredible.
