When it comes to me personally, I know I live alone and have two rubbish bins but consider myself careful as I only have to get them emptied once every three months. No food waste.

Until you change the business culture away from pure unbridled capitalism, thats not going to change. Capitalism cares about 1 thing only, exploiting people to make money and infinite growth.
