Starting early will help to protect children and keep them safe. There are no evidence that SRE encourages early sexual activity, and some evidence it can delay it. Young people who have had good SRE are also more likely to use contraception when they first have sex

This message is for someone who needs to hear this and will fully understand it… You are not define by your circumstance or your past. Itโ€™s not what happened to you that determines your success in life; it is how you deal with those circumstances that determines your success in life. You are strong, you are capable and practice forgiveness (Forgiveness is for you; forgive your parents or anyone whom we have chosen to hurt us, to begin the process of healing and freedom. Remember: Forgiveness is for you to be freed, healed and happy. Itโ€™s a RESET BUTTON) and practice gratitude everyday. This will change the course of your life forever. Love you always and I believe in you wholeheartedly no matter what โœจโค๏ธ – Nat

your right but you would have had more impact with out the frills. education is key, the biggest issue stems from our fear of sex. humans need to see that its not special magical and something to be coveted

I WISH I was taught about sex properly when I was in school! I was coerced into sex when I was in high school by my then-boyfriend, which led to further abuse (sexual, verbal, emotional, physical). I wish I had known that it wasn’t okay for someone to pressure you that way, but now it’s too late. The scars are no longer fresh but they will be with me forever.

Teach your kids it’s okay to refuse that kiss from Grandma. They have a right to choose who touches them

Kids think they can’t say no. They do not want to hurt or be rude to elders or people.. but teach them they have rights over anything that will concern their body.

Even being married shouldnโ€™t mean consent is a given, and I wish all people understood that, maybe work it into the vows.

Great talk! Here are the RULES that you can teach your children:

    1. Do not touch anyone without asking.
    2. Consent can be withdrawn at any time during an activity.
    3. If consent is not given, do not ask again. Respect a “no”.
