My Samsung folds have been cracking and then the screen eventually gives up.

Scared to take chances on foldables.

My Fold 3 inner screen cracked twice in 18 months. I’ve had my One Plus Open since it launched nearly 3 years ago with 0 issues tho. I think Samsung just has quality control issues or something.

      maybe apple will perfect it

    • @NewMateo

      June 3, 2026 at 3:17 pm

It’s probably just the screen protector. Remove it and put a new one one it. They sell replacements. You’d want to do this because you don’t want the adhesive to give issues to the inner part.

These guys make the best foldables. Really like their flip series. Probably the best phone I’ve had

Most complete all-around foldable to date. Definitely worth noting the active stylus support on both the inner *and* outer displays. While Samsung dropped the S Pen entirely, Moto is out here not only including it on both screens, but making the stylus Bluetooth enabled for functions such as remote camera shutter.

1:40 the multitasking is far more capable than what’s being shown here, which is a shame because it really is a standout feature, let alone on a book style foldable. Spending 20x longer on the cameras is … A choice.

    June 3, 2026 at 4:02 pm

why do they think people will buy a Motorola phone for $2,000

    • @MorganTheGorgon

      June 3, 2026 at 5:04 pm

With how strongly moto phones depreciate, I could see this being an incredibly good deal in like 8-12 months from now secondhand tbh. Samsung’s foldables really haven’t come down in price at all like we thought they would six years ago so cheaper alternatives are always good

  11. @RosaParksShoe

    June 3, 2026 at 4:05 pm

Camera on the corner vs center is a lot better. Most people who have a fold probably don’t video chat much or just use the front display. It’s pretty annoying watching videos or using apps on the big display on the fold7 with the hole punch right three. Personally I wish they’d just go back to in screen cameras

The reason MacBook charging brick slow charged a Motorola phone or other android phones is PPS. Please touch base on this as it’s deceiving the way it was presented. Most anker or third party chargers have this enabled

I’ve had the Razr Fold for almost 2 weeks and I really like it. I used a Baseus GaN 65 watt charger from Amazon and it fully charges from 15% to 100% in about 25 minutes. It displays that Turbo Charging is active and it does get warm but it’s fast. It will change from Turbo to Quck Charging when it gets past 85%. Overall the phone has been great and I would recommend it. I’m using it on AT&T with no issues.

    • @cheftman4408

      June 3, 2026 at 10:23 pm

I use my 100W laptop charger with USB C and it went 28% to 100 in 22 minutes without battery charging boost turned on. Like you said, I plug it in for 15 minutes and im well over 90%. I don’t even bother charging it over night.

    • @cutmygrasspedro

My Samsung folds have been cracking and then the screen eventually gives up.

Scared to take chances on foldables. ….

    • @iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii12345

      June 3, 2026 at 7:52 pm

As an engineer, a foldable phone must be weaker than any others. There’re several cables to connect each display. That’s the most important part of making dualable devices, and almost every manufacturer makes that part as assembled one. In the case of Samsung’s one, endure about 2~3 years. But the ironic thing is that they care much about securing their phones. Other brands never do as them. Obviously, you can find cheaper one or something special thing, but I would say never trust cheap manufacturer. They make pays doubled

    • @cutmygrasspedro

      June 4, 2026 at 10:40 am

Just stick with ultras or try tri fold

    • @BruceLeeRoy26

      June 4, 2026 at 12:35 pm

@cutmygrasspedrowhy try a $3000 discontinued phone if their foldable is already giving them issues. Never understood this consumer mentality.

I just got the phone and I love it however I find myself using the outer screen more so far. And the battery is unbelievable. Compared to my OnePlus 15 it’s decent . My op15 is louder and a better phone TBH. But the razor camera is pretty damn good and my only complaint is how Motorola pulldown settings are very similar to Google pixel which Im so used to OnePlus settings. As far as charging on my oo charger it charges fast and battery is unbelievable. I would never have gotten a foldable phone if it wasn’t for the large battery and fast charging. Once you have that it’s impossible to go back to regular battery and charging phones

  30. @cutmygrasspedro

My first foldable. Loving the battery as charging is similar to my prior primary, OnePlus 13. The features, similar to Dex (my old Samsung Note 20 Ultra), work flawlessly and this has been a boon for work on-the-go. Found a great case off of Amazon that protects the hinge as well.

  40. @batista7190

    June 5, 2026 at 1:26 am

When you extend the app when multitasking it doesn’t necessarily make it the default app, it makes it like a carousel to see all three apps in full screen when you click on them each in the 90/10 split view.

  44. @yellow2560

    June 5, 2026 at 1:04 pm

For people who are buying a foldable and STILL complaining about seeing the crease, don’t even bother, you’re not ready for foldables until 2050. Just wait.

  45. @yellow2560

    June 5, 2026 at 1:06 pm

I’d say go for it if you get the 2yr accidental warranty and are someone who tends to swap phones every 1-2yrs.

  46. @R8ndy

    June 5, 2026 at 5:47 pm

Book style phones are very convenient. I highly recommend! However, 2 Things You NEED to Include in this review:
1- Very expensive phone MUST! have a good-good phone case. Motorola does not provide a durable case for this flagship. Making it a, high-cost & high-risk. Good luck trying to find a protective case for this $1,900 phone.
2- Paying essentially $2k should come with a charger brick. No excuses from Motorola on this failure.

  47. @darrenorange2982

    June 5, 2026 at 7:08 pm

Why is it expensive? It’s not

I have the z fold 7 but hate it compared to the z fold 6 for only 1 reason they got rid of the s pen and recently learning the 8 will not have it either my question does this have capability of s pen like or does it just use a stylus
