Well, isn’t this the point, if those aspects aren’t controllable, then start controlling what you can? What is the point of making processes that people either find loop holes to or blatantly refuse to follow? Processes are important only for those who believe in them, otherwise, you have got a situation *out* of control, and the way to gain that control back, is by submiting to the realization that if there is anything to do, it is to start believing in those who don’t believe, and recognizing that just as they have decided to be whomever they are now, they could just as much believe in other things with enough impactful experiences.
I am not saying its easy, I am saying it is likely the only way, and if there is no other way, why not accept it and move on with it? I find it difficult myself to not keep pointing fingers to the failures of society and humanity, and whomever, but seriously, what is that going to do but put you in a situation of despair that will only bring about more passivity?
I am implementing this in my life as of right now, and I invite you to do so too❤

@ThumpahFPV The problem she failed to acknowledge and is common in my experience, is that the decent people will leave. If you create uncertainty amongst the most capable in your workforce, they will find a new job the easiest. You will end up with a loyal, but less capable, and de-skilled workforce.

Here’s the reality. Any company functions from the bottom up. Every company. Leadership is a position of servitude. It’s not surrender. It’s servitude. You choose to be in service of others. That’s leadership. That’s true leadership. What can I do to help you? How can I make your day better? What roadblocks in your way can I remove? This is leadership. The CEO of a company is a servant of everyone and should act so.

I think what im gathering from this is, humility is the best virtue of a good leader, because the truth is the leader doesn’t matter all that much in comparison to what the actual workers are doing. They are basically their to offer guidance.

While you’re in the process of surrendering control and accepting your role as a contributor, maybe also surrender some of those unwarranted, unnecessarily, ridiculously lopsided/outsized executive salaries to the other real contributors.

This video offers a profound shift in perspective, moving from the exhausting grip of control to the liberating power of surrender. It is deeply moving to realize that true leadership isn’t about forcing outcomes, but about courageously shaping experiences that inspire others to choose their own path.
